No - he despised other competing parties. That’s like saying Stalin wasn’t a communist because he killed competing communist. The Nazi government was as socialist as they come.

They actually have a lot in common with the modern left - especially Obama. They called for the nationalization of education, health care, transportation, and other major industries. They instituted and vigorously enforced a strict gun control regimen. They encouraged pornography, illegitimacy, and abortion, and they denounced Christians (also competing for loyalty of the citizens) as right-wing fanatics.

Hitler was inspired by Italian Fascism, an invention of Benito Mussolini. Mussolini recognized that conventional socialism wasn’t working. He knew that nationalism exerted a stronger pull on the working class than proletarian brotherhood (as Stalin learned and utilized in WW2). He also saw that the opposition of large corporations made socialism difficult to enact. Mussolini came up with an alternative strategy, Fascism. Mussolini described his new movement as a ``Third Way’’ between capitalism and communism. As under communism, the state would exercise dictatorial control over the economy. But as under capitalism, the corporations would be left in private hands but would be controlled by the government - sound familar progressives?

About the only thing “right wing” about Fascism is the spirit of nationalism.

You are so ill informed on the healthcare issue. But let’s just think about this…if it were such a wonderful thing why did so many of Obama’s supporters and Obamacare supporters opt out? The funds to subsidize those with pre-existing conditions have alread run out and the CBO has projected costs far exceeding the original figures.

Obama care will not give one single patient healthcare or insurance. It will fine you if you DONT buy insurance though. You have the opportunity to buy through the “exchanges” that are being formed. However once again the anticipated cost for a family is TWENTY THOUSAND PER YEAR.

So much for insuring more…

As to Hitler, yes he was a statist and fascist but again the terms do not comport at all with what is considered Right Wing politics in America. The basic tenent of the Right is LESS GOVERNMENT not more. Please distinguish between 21st Century America and 20th Century Germany. There are differences ya know!

But let’s get back to Climate Change…since temperatures are going down, they can’t really call it Global Warming with a straight face anymore. Are any of these policies not Leftist? It seems like it’s all about more regulations, more restrictions, more taxes and higher energy costs. Doesn’t sound like Conservative or Right Wing to me.

The Left has an abysmal record of simply expanding human misery so we all share in its bounty. Or as one person noted, the plan of the Climate Change fanatics is “Go freeze in the dark…”

  • The evidence that humans have contributed to global warming is acknowledged by EVERY scientific organization in the world. However, even AGW deniers are not so silly as to even suggest that the world’s temps are not increasing

Yes indeed. Oh and I did actually Google this and found an interesting site called Climate Depot where something like 200000 emails from the original Climategate have been revealed. I will take a look and see what’s behind this site but it has LOTS of interesting info.

Well if you actually do make the effort,please use legitimate sites. You will find that “climategate” never happened,except in the minds of conspiracy enthusiats.
Also, why not provide evidence? Merely stating your opinion that the entire world’s scientific community is part of a conspiracy,that falsifies data etc is opinion not fact. I need statements of fact to refute. By definition, one cannot refute statements of opinion.
Why do you not attack NASA’s etc statements of fact,with statements of fact? Is it because all your statements of fact are from conspiracy blogs?

Actually no, an ad hominem is a logicall fallacy only when the “attack on the person” has no relevance. Much like you did attacking “Fox news” without finding out the source or if they presented the truth.

See the Hannity vid I gave. How was that not obvious? Also,how did my vid showing that when one attempts to validate fox “news” claims one finds out that they were making stuff up irrelevant?

Did Fox News lie about the study? Did they reference the study?

That is “relevance” applied to the study and claim.

Your logic fails - because even the dishonest can tell the truth and you fail to acknowledge that fact.

By YOUR logic : You should have not referenced BBC …which is in the forefront of one of the biggest pedophile cover-ups literally involving 100’s of children ]

Not sure if this is directed at me but just in case, good job with the strawman argument…yes indeed we are all claiming the “entire world’s scientific community…” No one has claimed conspiracies but you. The Climategate scandal demonstrated that at least some scientists were willing to compromise data and findings to promote their agenda. I don’t see any facts refuting what was stated in the leaked emails. Now there are even more of them.

BTW there is a lot of politics in science, in the NSF and awarding of grants. I grew up in this world and remember the application process as being more carefully staged than a Broadway show. As many have noted, follow the money. From Al Gore’s millions made on falsified stories and claims about polar bears to various grants provided only to those who espoused the currently trendy theories, it’s easy to understand why the Climategaters wanted the truth hidden.

FOIA the releaser of Climategate1 and Climategate2 ] just the other day released the password to hundreds of thousands more. We are now in Climategate 3.

There are many volunteer scientific researchers now parsing them for historical significance.

Sean Hannity is NOT A JOURNALIST. Good grief, it makes me nuts the way Liberals claim that “Fox News” is this or that and then they invariably point to one of the pundits not one of the newsmen.

As to doctoring tapes, how about NBC doctoring Mrs Obama erroneously stating that the child killed in Chcago was killed with an assault weapon. (it was a handgun) They deliberately cut that part out. Further they doctored the tape when George Zimmerman was speaking to the police about Trayvon Martin. Oh and let’s get back to CBS and Dan Rather with his bogus report on George Bush 43.

Those are supposedly hard news reporters, not talk show hosts, not pundits. Yet they are the ones who are falsifying informaton.

Looking forward to Climategate 3!

Good grief climategate 1, and climategate 2 were proven to be silly. And now climategate3! Repeating a lie does not make it true. Sorry, conspiracy enthusiasts!
