I was joking, of course. And the mob is no bigger in Missouri than anywhere, I’m sure. I did, however, know the Civellas personally back in the day.

It’s so cute that you can joke about the mob. Because they aren’t nice guys and they are no one to emulate and when you talk about lack of loyalty and betrayal for someone who calls out abuse of power, it’s not cute.

I wasn’t the one who brought up the mob. You did that in order to slander people who support Trump. Such a flippant and insulting reference to people against whom your only complaint is opposition to your political ideology and their failure to hate the man you so despise that it consumes you.

I know quite well what the mob is, and it’s disgusting and dirty to lay that epithet on people who aren’t a thing like real mobsters.

You have called into question Romney’s loyalty and call his actions a betrayal. You have called the actions of a man who is doing his best to answer to his maker a betrayal for not choosing to cover up abuse of power. That’s mob talk right there.

It’s disgusting and dirty to call Romney’s actions a betrayal, but it’s been all over this forum.
 
They find no value in the trajectory we were on. They fear it.
You can see the reaction to Trump probing Authoritarianism. They get it the same as you and I. They percieved the alternative worse.
 
What I find so funny is how naive the Democrats appear to be. I guarantee you that there have been very few IF ANY presidents who have not had conversations with foreign leaders that, if overheard, would be shocking those do not understand what real diplomacy is. Our country has been protected many times by a Commander in Chief who had the courage to say " our way of the highway". In this case, the very fact that Joe Biden just might become the most powerful human on earth is made it (imho) not just ok but absolutely his duty. I spent the best 23 years of my life in the USAF, including a year in Vietnam. There was a horrible night in Jan 1967 when I am pretty sure I killed a person. God knows I tried my best. I fired and he fell. Do I That about this? No. But I never lost a night of sleep. Knocking down had people takes guts. My President has guts. Biden (imho) would make a terrible president and there is plenty of evidence that he is less than straight.
 
A handful of pros, a Lt. Col. , West point grads, wounded decorated vets and career diplomats all faced saying nothing or falling on a grenade.
They chose the grenade.
Because what they saw was a drug deal.
I go by the choice they made.
I go by the fact they were under oath, not the witness hiders.
It isn’t romantic at all.

Or perhaps Mr. Schiff inferred… we don’t know. Think of the things we didn’t know because Mr. Schiff didn’t turn over all the evidence… or show the entire testimony of the “witnesses”…
