So what if I didn’t?
Then that’s all I need to know. If Trump’s for it, you’re for it. If Trump’s against it, you’re against it. It will help me analyze your posts better.
But you may remember, if you wish, that I had no negative words for Susan Collins back when she voted against Trump on the witness issue, but before she voted against conviction when everyone though she would vote for it.

My problem with Romney is not that he opposed Trump per se, but that he stabbed Trump in the back after having accepted his support before. Nobody likes a betrayer.
Yes, very much the mob mentality.

Their mistake was not knowing Trump cannot commit a crime.
Perhaps their minds need reconditioning

Can we please quit arguing about the evidence? It was enough to get him impeached by an extremely partial Democratic House and didn’t result in a conviction by an extremely partial Republican Senate. There was nothing impartial about the process from start to finish. Had the political parties of all the players been reversed, it would have played out just the same way.
@drcube Please pay attention to this post. You’re upset that a partisan Senate didn’t agree with a partisan House. We can’t pretend that the democrats weren’t biased. Every single Senate democrat voted to impeach, and the Republicans as a party showed more of an open mind about the issue once Romney sided with them.

Impeachment was partisan to begin with. It can’t be denied. Just look at where the R’s and D’s lined up on the vote if you doubt me.

I’m sorry, what part of the Republican Party is showing more an open mind on the issue? The part that is blasting Romney. The people like @ridgerunner who claim that Romney’s act was a betrayal and demand loyalty. I’m missing it, so guide me to that party, if you will.

He is upset that Trump committed a crime and there does not exist accountability because the obvious end game was your Senate v House.
It isn’t that hard to figure out.
That leaves Trump to decide when to take a crown.

It makes you wonder if the atheists are right about us
About a lot of us, yes. Yes, they are. If you were an atheist, are the people posting here the shining example that you would want to follow, committed to a higher calling?

@camoderator
Please close this thread. People are just insulting each other.

We’d have to first reach the conclusion that he had committed any crimes, and the trial couldn’t make that determination. All that exists is speculation.

I truly wish that the Democrats could at least fake being genuine. Maybe they could’ve fooled me into believing they were really trying to put a criminal away- instead, I only felt that they wanted to put a republican away, and help themselves in the election.

How’d that work for them?

I’d say it worked fine. First, I don’t believe they were being fake. Second, they have clearly exposed that the Republican Party is defined by Trump. As a country, we can decide what direction we want to go in during the elections without any misconceptions about the reality of the situation.

Not really seeing the insulting
There’s talking down to people who don’t think like you. Telling people they’re closed minded, calling the President a criminal when he is not, telling people their minds need conditioning.
This thread and others have run its course and keeps degrading.

I appreciate the thought.
This is the body. Not a building or learned text.

Never said that.
Yes, very much the mob mentality.
The mob makes proper distinctions between politicians who act consistently and those who don’t? Strange.

I would disagree with you. I am not talking down nor telling people they are closed minded, but probing where they are coming from. I think it’s more that you don’t like my view that Trump is a criminal, which he is, and that’s your real issue here.

Never said that.
Well, you said
So what if I didn’t?
when I said
Your opinion of every person comes down to whether or not they support Trump. You don’t appear to look at anything else.
so I think my interpretation is entirely correct.

Wow, you know a lot about the mob. Is the mob a big thing in Missouri?
