The assertion there was just blanket defiance is wrong. In every instance when there was resistance to a subpoena or documents there was a legal explanation and justification for it which was supported by the Office of Legal Counsel from the Dept of Justice and responses via the WH counsel were given as such to the House.

If future presidents are corrupt like Trump is, they should be impeached. But the Republican Congress just gave cover for all sorts of corrupt behavior by hiding the evidence and refusing oversight.

And it was so broad that the only people from the White House that testified were ones that defied the order.

No, I believe Schiff, Nadler and others have done a superb job of confusing everyone. That is what happens when lies are told that don’t fit with the truth.

Oh, yes, it must be confusing to see all of the evidence they presented if you only get your news from Fox and right wing propaganda radio shows and websites.
 
There was no evidence. It was 3 day diatribe by the democrats against the President. Free airtime for the
democrats paid for by the taxpayers.

This was a 3 day campaign put on by the democrats and their liberal media friends.

There was quite a bit of evidence, well sourced or direct quotes from testimony. It would have been better to have actual witnesses, but the Republicans didn’t want that.
 
It is a decision to turn a Republic into a dictatorship.
Isn’t it amazing how willing Trump supporters are for the end of the Republic. It is mind boggling. They deny this truth, while they really don’t care. But say nonsense they care. All at the same time.

I don’t think they fully understand the consequences of this. You say he abused power. He did, but look at what the average Fox News viewer is being told. He’s the greatest President ever (so what if you can’t name actual accomplishments), he’s the most pro-life President ever (abortion is still legal), we are seen as strong leaders in the world (don’t even get me going) and Trump has been under the worst attacks ever. If people don’t free themselves from the lies, they won’t understand the consequences and people love living in the lies.
