An absolutely silly thing for people to get excited about. Numerology (or letterology???) is not only silly, but may be immoral if one takes it seriously.

You have the numerals backwards, it’s not666 but 666.
Or, MMM
Or is it upside down, 999?
Beats me! :banghead:
This reminds me: The back of the US $1 bill Has two sayings in Latin: “Annuit Coeptis” and “Novus Ordo Seclorum.” I have no clue what the fist saying means, but I’ve heard two different translations for the second. Most people say it means ‘A New Order for the ages’ but I’ve heard others say it means “A New Order without God.” Any Latin scholars out there who can give me a hand?

To my Canadian friend, a funny story (I hope),
When I was about 19 years old, I was working at a gas station (summer vacation time, from the seminary), and some guys came in and asked to “fill 'er up,” I notice that they had some Jack Chick tracts :tsktsk: on the front seat, WE–LLLL, being young and mischievious , when the gas pump stoped at about $6.00 I kept trying to get more in until it got to $6.66 . You should have seen their faces when I asked the driver for “six dollars and sixty-six cents please?” :bigyikes:
Well, I’m no Latin scholar, but as far as I know:This reminds me: The back of the US $1 bill Has two sayings in Latin: “Annuit Coeptis” and “Novus Ordo Seclorum.” I have no clue what the fist saying means, but I’ve heard two different translations for the second. Thanks for the (name removed by moderator)ut. As for 'Annuit Coeptis, I wonder exactly WHO is favoring their undertaking…Interesting.Code:
Annuit Coeptis…the meaning is vague, as its is lacking a subject. It means (something) favors our undertaking.
Novus Order Seclorum…means the new order of ages or the new world order.
Interesting…
Blessings,
Shoshana

White Dove is telling the truth! Your American money is marked with the sign of of the Beast. It will only bring you misery! It’s imperative that you gather up all of your currency, stuff it in a box, and mail it to:

(not even a single 6 in the address!)
And after all that, I imagine the individual named ASKED for some of that filthy cash, didn’t he?
6+6+6=18Mark of the beast is 666, right?
www would be interpreted the same way you look at roman numerals – www would be the number 18.
Not to get anybody too nervous. I’m Baptist and only recently signed up for RCIA.
