Firstly, you’re not the arbiter of what’s discussed on this Thread.
No but you fail to understand that you having that answer isnt important to you. You’re just curious.
Secondly, the question wasn’t addressed to you and it fits within the scope of this Thread.
then change how your asking the question cause your presenting yourself like and inquisitor when you arent because you dont have any arbitration over Catholicism.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them .”

There are two sexes and you’ll return as the sex God intended.
Then you answered your own question.

Then you answered your own question
The point of CAF is discussion. I can declare “nearly” whatever I believe. However, nobody has to agree with it. That’s when people debate and exchange points.

You should try it sometime.

The problem is that, as Albert mentioned, there is no one single ultimate bullet-proof way to say what makes various intersexed people one gender, or the other.

And frankly, growing up with ambiguous genitals, or other intersex conditions that can be corrected near birth, seems rather cruel to me. This is one of those strange there-is-no-good-answer problems.

You should try not passive aggressively implying someones inability to follow doctrine means their point is invalid.

I never implied that. I was looking for clarification, thus the question.

Psalm 84:6

When they walk through the Valley of Weeping”.

If the decision is clear, proceed with caution. However, immediate surgery isn’t always advisable. God must allow this suffering for a reason…

My only point is that God makes you one or the other. From the beginning you’re one or the other.
Perhaps you have not read through the thread? God allows the effects of original sin through a variety of consequences, including birth defects. For example, God may have intended for everyone to be born with perfect physical formation, but we still have a great variety of hereditary and congenital defects of various kinds. One of these anomalies is the intersex condition, where a person does not fit neatly into either category. They have traits of both sexes, such that they cannot be pigeonholed into either one.

Does God “make” spina bifida? Down’s Syndrome? Sickle Cell anemia?, Multiple Sclerosis? The list is probably longer than the post count limit.

Apparently you’re missing my point, namely that God made them either male or female even if we cannot distinguish.

Genesis 1:27

He also created people back then to live for centuries. Things seem to change.

I don’t like playing guessing games about what one person’s god wants. Especially when not everyone agrees that god is the real god or the right god.

God doesn’t change. If you believe that we lived that long and then diminished, it can only be through human frailty. God permits certain things to happen.

You should elaborate. Are you talking about surgery or the lifelong condition? It’s been debated that early sex assignment in ambiguous situations isn’t always advisable.

Regardless, I was saying that God permits these human frailties. Our suffering does have meaning; however. I’m not saying that medical procedures should be avoided.

God does seem to have changed how we are made. According to the Bible people lived for centuries, but that was changed. I also wasn’t made out of a rib or from dirt. Things have changed a bit since then.

Notice how all your points concern the book of Genesis? Genesis contains the most ancient stories of mankind. You can’t take everything at face value. Now we’re discussing Literal V/S Metaphorical interpretation. 😐

Cool, maybe the male and female bit wasn’t literal. 😊

Sorry, That’s literal Church Teaching. God made One Man and One Woman.

Legitimate to whom? So you are saying that persons who have half the characteristics of one and half of the other are “illegitimate”? What does that even mean?
There exists in reality only two sexes. God made them male and female.

I said “legitimate” because in today’s world there is the nonsense of multiple “genders”. Some say there are 52 “genders.” No such thing. Because of that I said legitimate, since the idea of 52 genders is not legitimate. .

Yeah well the church is not perfect, helps to take things with a grain of salt.
