There was yellow cake in Iraq. The Canadians removed it after the war and processed it into nuclear fuel. Check it out.

There were no WMD found such as were expected, but there were WMD. The Brits destroyed what were thought to be the last of it two summers ago at the invitation of the Iraqi government, but some more was recently found. Now and again a WWII bomb is still found in Germany. They will be finding WMD in Iraq for decades.

But none of this really matters now. The U.S. won’t go back. The Middle East will either be ruled by Sunni Islamic extremists or Iran. Obama knew it, too. Not much more to know.

Anyway, the invasion of Iraq will go down as a bad decision and all the GOP candidates have now come out and said so.

Now, we have to deal with the quagmire there. But I’d be upset if we sent forces back in unilaterally.

I’d blame the press for Nixon’s disapproval. In my opinion, some of the things that this White House has done is worse than anything Nixon did such as the IRS scandal, spying on Americans.

No major court has ruled that the invasion of Iraq was illegal. Actually, the first Gulf War was never concluded, it never ended officially, no illegal action.

However, the US government stated that an armed attack by Iraq did occur against the US and its coalition partners as demonstrated by the assassination attempt on former US President George H. W. This isn’t the topic of this thread so I didn’t want to say anything, yet, that Fast and Furious, legal or not, that was a bad thing sending guns to Mexico. But in saying that, there are lots of presidents who end up doing things. But just listing a number of indictments isn’t the end all and people definitely got killed with these guns in Mexico. I think part of why the AG Holder was stepping down is over some issues like this. Okay, that’s all I will say.
