Ok.
The people here talk a good game; but is Islam really all that BBAADD??
If Islam was as BAD as the people here say; why do educated people convert every day? Why are very educated people still muslims?🤷
It cant be that they are all being lied to?
Surely they must see falseness in Christianity or the “church” that makes them choose Islam ?
Sin is BAD, and people choose that everyday.

What does choosing evil have to do with it being legitimate?

Hmm, and all that false prophet did was teach people to Love and submit to God. Yet the curveball you claim he taught will damn their souls to Hell?

I have a hard time believing that.
Did I ever say that they were damned to Hell? That is up to God. I am simply correcting the error that they teach. Would it be better to let them perhaps go to hell with out knowledge of the truth? Should I not say a word when a see a man about to walk infront of a moving bus?

They have been taught lies about Christ. Should our love of Christ not out weigh political correctness?

Christ himself said I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by me. Do you deny that?

The question again is what god are they loving and submitting too? The prophet they follow denies who Christ is. So as I said would God lie about himself?

You seem more upset at me then you do at people who speak falsely about our Lord. Why is that?

Are you so sure you know what he meant?
the whole section is as follows:

5Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know** my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

8Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

9Jesus answered: "Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

To truly know the Father you must know the Son. If you are denying the Son you are denying the Father.**

Was He talking to pious Muslims who actually do the will of His Father? The people I am talking about.

  • because they are risen in Christ who defeated death.
Death, O death, where is your victory?
Jesus is truly risen.
He has conquered death. He has given life.
**What you said may be something fascinating. But it is not true nor any gospel. It is your good wishes or wishful thinking. So I leave you with your ideas.
Risen does not mean to die and then get up. Please do not use such doubtful words.

I have explained the Quranic version of the crucifixion in another post, i.e. the verse 4:157. Please see that.

May I ask you why have you choosen to be Catholic and not Muslim?

What was it the drew you to the Catholic faith?

The question again is what god are they loving and submitting too?
As far as I have observed they are loving and submitting to a God that teaches them to love their neighbor, always giving what is asked of them, to show hospitality, to respect each other, and to act lawfully and with justice.

Sound familiar?

Here is a question though are they truly doing the will of the Father if they are denying the Son?

Let’s just say that I’m just trying to love God like He first loved me.

of course there will be familiar things, but does that mean that anyone who picks and chooses from the Bible can call himself a prophet and lead people to God?

Yes it does perhaps they have the true religion. We should abandon all that Jesus and the Apostles taught.

As I said before if it leads away from Christ it is essentially not good. Yes even good things can lead us away from Christ. Why do they do all these things. Is it to gain favor from God or because they love God so much? What is the motivation.

What do you do with the teachings of the infidel?

Salaam/peace;

Muslims ruled India for …I forgot the exact years…say more than 200 years. How there are so many temples & statues in India ? May be , some temples were looted because Hindus collected gold & other jewellaries inside the temple / under the statues. But in general , Muslims are not even allowed to utter bad words about other gods.
You are perfectly right. The Muslims ruled India for more than 800 years. They ruled in Spain for about 700 years. There is no compulsion in religion. Every one is free to take any faith he/she likes. Idols are not to be broken by the Muslims and they do not break them. Thanks for your post.

Does evil produce ripe fruit?
How do you know that the fruit is good? Where did the fruit come from who is offering the Fruit. Does the Fruit point to Christ?

There are many berries out there that look good but when you eat them they kill you.

Nothing evil can produce good fruit. Nothing good can produce evil fruit.

Charity, Humility, Love, these things pour forth from a fountain of good. And, as a Catholic, I’m sure you know that that fountain can only come from God right?

Although Christianity does not deal with earthly “things”, it does not forbid mankind from devising and adapting laws to solve their mundane problems. Christ’s statement “Give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar” underlines this fact. Unlike Islam, the NT has no problem with earthly governments and authorities. 😉
This does not add up. Sorry to say that. 🙂

But on a serious note - is war mundane problem, when lives are involved? How can you devise laws regarding killing and taking away human lives, when obviously only God can do that?

Was not Jesus talking about money and material things when he said you give to Ceaser what belongs to him? As a Christian, how could you obey ‘Ceaser’ if he asks you to kill? There is no one word by Jesus (I think) that condoned killing no matter what are the circumstances. You are in a quandary here.

Yes, I admire Christians who are obedient to the authority of the day. But just ponder on the situation above. Would you not be against Jesus’ teaching by taking part in killing (perhaps as a soldier) in order to serve the authority? I thought I sense some pride in Christians here in remembering how Christians gave their heroic lives in Normandy. But is this Christianity? If it is, where does it says so? If it is not, then like I said, you’re in a quandary - the religion is incomplete and impractical.

To follow strict teaching of Christianity is very difficult to live up to. I would say, the only genuine Christians were those matyrs during the pre-Constantine era. Either it is that or Christianity has evolved from what it is truly not.

I would say a true Christian would be at peace with the authority but only up to a point; after that you’d have problerm with it. Unless if you’re not faithful to the teaching of the NT.

I would say a true Muslim would be at peace with the autnority, contrary to what you think, but also only up to a point; after that he would have problem with it - especially if he is made to do things that against his religion.
