Not if he was being sarcastic towards some people on this forum who really do come off sounding like screeching, mouthbreathing idiots and are entirely serious about it. That’s just fine I think, since it falls under the category of admonishing sinners as per RCC…although I do worry about non-native-English speakers not realizing that Nickname is taking a swing at the haters with that, and not at Muslims/other non-Catholics and non-Christians. Sarcasm and irony don’t always translate very well, even if they’re done this broadly.

I don’t know. You may not be “physically” violent but that does not mean that you don’t condone the violence perpetrated by other Muslims. After all, you claim to see beauty in a book filled with intolerance and hatred towards non-Muslims, and it’s the same book that members of Al Qaeda quote from when justifying and committing acts of violence towards others. Why should you be different in your inmost thoughts?

I think the point is war. Does Islam believe that Allah has given Muslims global domination by the sword? Osama Bin Laden is just reawaking the Islamic cause to fight and dominate the world.

Yet in the 16th century, Muslim turkish raiders came to take the west europe, but the Catholic Crusaders beat them back in disillusionment that Allah has not given them the victory after all.

Nah, bin Laden isn’t trying to “revive Islam’s cause” or anything like that. He’s trying to achieve poiltical aims and uses religion as a rallying cry.

Muslims on the other hand, don’t like to see people being oppressed–anywhere.

Jesus came to teach that “blessed are the feet that bring peace, blessed are the peacemakers they shall be called sons of God.”

Jesus taught to preach the Gospel (goodnews) with peace, and to be harmless, do no evil.

Mohammed taught spread Islam by the sword, bring death upon all who do not convert, and the Islamic terrorist today are really just doing what he taugh them to do.

the end goal for Islam?.. They believe they need to establish caliphate over entire globe… by any means necessary… <–very important. the end of days do not occur untill Muslims fight the Jews <-in Hadiths.

Are they all wrong in understanding the “no compulsion” thing ?
What if a person doesn’t believe in islam anymore ?

The OIC is the official organization of all muslim majority countries, plus several countries with large muslim populations, and several political and economic organizations.
