All are certainly important; however, we also have an obligation to help our own citizens. How do you suggest I get around my scriptural obligations?
Problem is, we are $22,000,000,000,000 ($22 trillion) in debt, and have $120 trillion in unfunded liabilities. The Democratic candidates are proposing that we pay for the healthcare, etc., for virtually whomever wishes to get into our country, whether legally or illegally. That would add trillions of dollars more.
Further, we have already given billions of dollars to the home countries of most of the illegal immigrants, and it was apparently wasted or stolen by the leaders of those countries.
Many of our own citizens are in need of assistance. I would prefer that the assistance come from individuals or church organizations, not the government. If the government helps illegals, taxes will go up, and due to government inefficiencies, less of each dollar would go to help… Higher taxes means less money available for individuals to help.
I could probably elaborate more, but I’m way too sleepy right now. Hopefully, you get the point.
