Pat Toomey, Republican Senator from Pennsylvania, just tweeted congratulations to President elect Biden after all legal avenues have been closed.
Agreed.Just so we’re clear…I agree that he’s not attempting a coup. He’s just desperately trying to figure out a way to win and not have to accept that he lost.
Agreed. He has every right to go to court.
That’s contrary to what you just said. He’s exercising his rights. That defends the election process. He’s just not accomplishing anything other than to throw distrust in our election process
I would agree if any of his accusations had legs. If he’s trying to prove how sound and legal this election was, well, he’s doing that! Do you honestly think he’s making these challenges to assure everyone just how legal and fair our election really was? I certainly don’t.That’s contrary to what you just said. He’s exercising his rights. That defends the election process.
Normally the President elect gets intelligence briefings, and there is also a delay in providing the information and coordination on the coronavirus task force. It is a complicated process, transitioning to a new administration. Things are definitely being delayed from where they were when Obama handed off the administration to Trump, who got access immediately.Again, nonsense. Nothing is being delayed.
Changing the goal posts, eh?And the Obama Administration’s transition was weaponized against president elect Trump and his transition team …
A mere delay while the election irregularities are sorted out is less damaging than spying on the incoming president elect
This is not how our system works. It is not a nonsensical farce. It is the process of exercising one’s rights. It will go on as long as the courts are at work. It is how our system works.
Which is what the Left did over the last FOUR years … and unfortunately they succeeded with the left loyalists …Just so we’re clear…I agree that he’s not attempting a coup. He’s just desperately trying to figure out a way to win and not have to accept that he lost. He has every right to go to court. He’s just not accomplishing anything other than to throw distrust in our election process…on that, he’s unfortunately succeeding with some loyalists.
Make sure you put that down in an affidavit for Trump’s legal teamJames Carville pronounced confidently back in September that Biden would win. I could tell by the look on his face he was assured of a Biden victory.
He had a sneaky smirk on his face.
To succeed, he will need evidence in court. But if it somehow succeeds, do you think he’ll say ‘just kidding, folks; it was Biden all along’?
If he is successful in court, if Sidney Powell has evidence of what she says happened, that means the democratic process has already been overturned. He wants to overturn our democracy.
Anyone who believes in the constitution should defend his right to be heard in court.Anyone who stands for democracy (not just flag waving) should call him out on this.
Democrats tried to get electors to abandon their states and vote for Hillary in 2016.Their strategy is to get state legislatures to throw out the election results and replace them with Trump electors.
James Carville always has a sneaky smirk on his face. That isn’t evidence.James Carville pronounced confidently back in September that Biden would win. I could tell by the look on his face he was assured of a Biden victory.

Of course it is. We better hope that our system of seeking redress in court doesn’t change. That’s when a real revolt will happen. This is not how our system works.
Has he won in court yet, to an extent to change the outcome? No?If Trump has any legitimate points, he can take them to court. But he has not had any legitimate points. In our systems, his lawyers should keep him from bringing time wasting frivolous lawsuits with no grounding in the law.
That’s a personal opinion, not a constitutional concept. The constitutional and statutory concept is candidates have a right to challenge in court. If you want to see these changed to deny a candidate access to the courts, I would oppose that. His cases have been a mockery of the courts, not a legitimate attempt to redress wrongs.
Again, personal opinion that frankly doesn’t resemble the constitutional and statutory facts.Trump is showing an American system twisted almost beyond recognition,
Allowed by law but illegitimate? Interesting.Just because something is allowed by law doesn’t make it necessarily legitimate.
The disrobing that would be illegal on many fronts. There is nothing illegal at all in what Trump is doing.right to spank his daughter,
Goodness. You are assuming things that haven’t and clearly won’t happen. Tell me, which state legislature looks like, right now, it’s ready to vote a slate of electors in contradiction to the popular result in their state? Name one snd provide evidence. In this case, our lame duck isn’t just flooding the courts with dubious lawsuits over what should be formalities at this point, he’s applying pressure politics in the hopes he will encounter one corrupt or weak judge or legislator who will allow him to throw out a bunch of legally cast ballots and subvert the will of the voters.
I didn’t claim it to be “evidence”, but it made me very suspicious of what inside knowledge he seemed to be privy too in order to so confidently announce that Biden would be the winner.7_Sorrows:
