You’re not actually answering the question. HOW? How does a system of reparations not end up becoming a system of wealth redistribution based on skin color? Who decides who gets reparations? Who decides what form of reparations they get?
 
More importantly, who specifically is going to be levied with the taxes to pay these reparations?

There are many ways this could work without it becoming what you are speaking of.
But the senator has made no specific proposal that has the problems you are concerned about. It would seem that these concerns are off topic.

No I don’t think they are. She’s advocating for the use of my taxes to pay for reparations, I want to know how.

While this strategy may be appealing to a minority in the Dem party, I suspect it will also turn off many black voters who don’t want it to be a campaign issue. The issue also loses pull during a booming economy with low unemployment.

Thus it will pull in support during the primary (away from other Dems) but likely push many to the opposition in the General election.

“reparations” to people
based upon the color of their skin (in this case “black Americans”)
involves NO taking of wealth
and involves
NOTHING based upon the color of a person’s skin.

Go ahead and keep telling yourself that.

I have no interest in trying to convince you otherwise here.

I check out as many sources as I have the time with, especially if the topic is at all controversial. Six days a week I start out with Yahoo News that draws from a goodly divergence of sources.

Unfortunately, imo, all too many people only seek out sources that feed their “confirmation bias”. Therefore, your and my approach on this is almost entirely different.

You don’t know what my approach is, other than what I’ve said. What I’ve said is I’ve learned not to trust the MSM because they’ve proven themselves to be the “Pravda” for the DNC.
