You have no way to say this, though.
Thank you for the clarification. The same-sex divorce rate is much lower in Denmark, which has allowed same-sex marriage for a long time:It appears that the 2% statistic I was quoting was the “annual divorce rate” and I’m not sure what that means exactly. But I don’t know that the divorce rate of same-sex couples is higher than that for opposite-sex couples. There probably aren’t a lot of statistics on that yet.
But his acquaintances say he did. Now his name is even appears in a letter written in high school or college, which discusses his drinking problem and blacking out.Actually, he admitted he did drink to excess, but he claimed he never blanked out.
I hardly think it would destroy his life! I think you’re being far too melodramatic. Was Merrick Garland’s life destroyed when the Senate sat on their hands and did nothing for almost a year? No. Kavanaugh has a profession and is liked by some. His life will go on and he’ll still be wealthy.I don’t see cause for destroying Kavanaugh’s life, there is definitely a reasonable doubt.
Better look again. She has $528,500. A nice chunk of money, but definitely NOT $700,000. Not even close. And I don’t think she asked for that or anticipated it. Nor do I think she forever wants to be known as “that woman who was almost raped by Kavanaugh,” which is how people will remember her whether Kavanaugh is guilty of assaulting her or not.Last time I looked she had $700,000 in her Gofundme account. Not too shabby.
Well, then, I guess he should have been truthful about his drinking problem in high school and college. He should have known “the truth is out there.”‘We’re not convicting’, but still deciding his guilt, which is a judicial exercise. His life is ruined all the same, jail is not the only punishment and it’s disingenuous after the last two weeks to pretend that the only thing all this has cost him is a position or a job.
Well, his high school and college friends say he drank to the point of blacking out. And there is a letter, written by one of them back then, that mentions Kavanaugh’s excessive drinking. Kavanaugh got very defensive about it when asked and would not give a straight or calm answer. Very telling. You have no proof he lied. He spoke of drinking too much. American or not, justice is justice.
Why do you?The letter mentions excessive drinking and he already admitted that, to the point he said it made him cringe. The black outs are a few friends, others have vouched for him, why do you believe some and not the others?
They didn’t lie to the Senate during their confirmation hearings.Cast the first stone, I’m sure only sinless people serve in your Supreme bench.
