This is so true.
Yep, I agree. I do like shimmering blues and greens to wear for special outtings, with dh, I admit, I like playing with different ‘looks’ now and again (making smoky looking eyes is fun)…but, I think I apply my makeup very naturally…all you need to do is bring out your features. Too much makeup, applied wrong, wrong colors and so forth, will actually hide a woman’s features, and cause her to look…older.
But, nothing takes the place of exercising regularly…one’s face tends to glow when following a good diet, and exercising on a regular basis. I believe that because of exercise, I don’t find the need to wear foundation. I never really liked foundation–it clogs the pores of our skin.

No amount of makeup can correct bad skin, if it’s caused from a poor diet and no exercise. (Oh and drink TONS of water!! Your skin will thank you)
Nothing is worse for a woman’s skin too, than SMOKING. If for no other reason to quit (if cancer isn’t enough to get you to stop) do it for your skin. My sister smokes, and she is very age-phobic, she is 53 years young, and she looks great, she exercises…but, she said she is starting to notice lines around her mouth …due to smoking. Yes, we will have wrinkles as we age, but women who smoke will speed up the aging process …ten fold.
While we’re on the topic, what skin creams do you guys use? I use Aveeno’s daily moisturizer…I love this stuff!

I like it too because it has a built in sunscreen, around 15 SPF.***
