Let’s Blame Mother Earth..... really?

The first 261 Popes were greatly benefitted by the fact that during their pontificates there was no internet, no professional commentators, no daily news cycle, and very few people pondering intently over their every word.
 
The problem with the talking heads is that they are agents of slander and misinformation against the Vicar of Christ, spreading confusion, disdain and division in the Church, spreading like a virus affecting people of all walks¡ˋ,s of life in different ways. They are like consuming a seemingly wholesome meal that has been laced with poison.

Yes, and that’s the point. The Pope’s point is the point of Scripture, not what the talking heads have done with the snippet.
 
And we didn’t hear from some of their advisors like Pope Francis has who tell us that 2+2 can = 5. Or that Pope Francis breaks Catholic Traditions whenever he wants. Of course people are going to be on the lookout.

The Pope has never declared such things. Furthermore popes throughout history have the authority to change disciplines in the Church. Nobody complained when the tradition of public confession and public penances were abrogated and made private.
 
The video does a good job of showing where some of the problems with the popes words are in this instance. You may not see them as a problem, however some do. Furthermore some could use his words to justify positions that are false. This also is explained in the video and supported using Ludwig Ott.

Yes, and according to the Bible Catholics supposedly worship Mary and the Catholic Church is the whore of Babylon. all based on the spin distort twist cycle. Turn on the news, Trump Derangement Syndrome has half the population in a tizzy over sensational headlines and twisted reports. Pope Francis Derangement Syndrome has the same effect on the minds of people that have been injected with the talking head spin.
 
Pope Francis has already written an encyclical that begins:
“LAUDATO SI’, mi’ Signore” – “Praise be to you, my Lord”. In the words of this beautiful canticle, Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us. “Praise be to you, my Lord, through our Sister, Mother Earth, who sustains and governs us, and who produces various fruit with coloured flowers and herbs”.

Perhaps that encyclical is a better way to understand the Pope’s teaching? He really is quite clear, the only ambiguities coming from those who are not listening.
 
I see what your saying. I disagree that one should have to read Laudato Si to understand what he is saying. Again that is something discussed in the video regarding him attributing a personality to Mother Earth as if she punishes us for sins against her, rather than God punishes us through the Mother Earth for sins against him.

One need only watch the popes daily videos and homilies to realize that he’s just echoing the Scriptures and the sacred teachings of the Church. The problem is that people only are attracted to sensational headlines. Take the time to watch the popes daily homilies send you get the truth, The talking heads are reacting and producing and spreading sensational headlines, in the age of misinformation.

I highly suspect that like Taylor Marshall, you invest many more hours and brain cells in anti Pope and anti Church ideology than in prayer and charity. He makes bucket loads of money and ego from it. What do you get out of it other than being poisoned?

You didn’t address my post above and whether you question the Catechism as well?

In what way is the Pope being ambiguous in his description of what’s happening? Don’t you see the same here in the Catechism?
