I checked out the site:

Removal of feeding tube - a sin

Homosexual Marriage - a sin

Taking God of the Pledge of Allegiance - who cares?

Bann on 10 Commandments monument - who cares?

Abortion on Demand - a sin

Prohibition on School Prayer in public schools - hey, I’m opposed to that one myself
Removal of feeding tube- murder
Abortion on demand-murder

What point are you trying to make here? That these things are only wrong because they are sins? Because only religious people are opposed to them? That they wouldn’t be wrong if if were’nt for religion?
Starving someone to death is murder and the killing of the unborn is murder. Not to mention against our constitution…All Americans have the right to life. The fact is that this country is supposed to be run by the people, for the people and of the people. It’s supposed to be majority rules. The majority of people in this country don’t want gay marriage or God to be taken out of the pledge, but the judges don’t rule on what the majority wants. They rule on what they want. Period. Sorry, if you like that, but I personally don’t want someone else ruling over me and making up the rules that they see fit, especially if most Americans disagree with their positions.

Who said or suggested that? Not I.

You are wrong. Equal protection before the law is the rule.

Sure. And black people would still be second class citizens if the courts didn’t rule all the segregation laws unconstitutional. After all, at the time, most Americans disagreed with the courts’ rulings.

If judges had their way in the mid-1800s, blacks would still be under the law of slavery. Further, segregation laws were upheld by the Supreme Court initially.

The United States Supreme Court is out of control, and has been for
some time. The damage inflicted upon the American people by activist
judges will be felt for many years to come. Consider these decisions:
Code:
    * School prayer-banned!

    * Laws against sodomy-banned!

    * Abortion on demand-allowed!

    * Partial-birth abortion-allowed!

    * Bans on displaying the Ten Commandments at
      courthouses-allowed!

    * Bans on peaceful pro-life demonstrations-allowed!
But we have come to a crucial time in Supreme Court history. Never
before has the likelihood of several openings on the Court been so
imminent. The judges who fill these slots will determine the direction
America takes in the future. Will we continue to slide into an ever
more anti-Christian, anti-life nation or will we come back to our roots
and allow the voice of Christian people to be heard once again?

President Bush will have the opportunity to appoint up to four
justices during his second term in office. Enormous pressure is going
to be placed on him and on the Senate by special interest groups to
appoint justices who will continue to push the militantly secular
agenda that has dominated the Court in recent years.

We must stand up and demand that the president and the Senate appoint
justices who will adhere to their proper role as judges and allow the
American people to express their will by the democratic process.

Unfortunately, most people don’t realize how crucial the present moment
is. That’s why Catholic Answers has decided to initiate a new project,
designed to inform people about what is really happening.

In our new booklet, “Supreme Injustice,” you will find out exactly
what’s at stake. You’ll learn what’s been happening–and what should
have been happening all along! You’ll also find out what you can do
to help.

Act now and get the word out!

In much the same way that the “Voter’s Guide for Serious Catholics”
was distributed, so we are looking to distribute our new “Supreme
Injustice” booklet. We want to get this booklet into the hands of
as many people as possible.

We believe that the Voter’s Guide had a tremendous impact on the
elections last November, thanks to the grassroots effort by Catholics.
With so many Catholics buying and giving these booklets to their
families and friends, more people were reached than would have been
otherwise.

We are now facing another crucial juncture in our nation, one that
must be dealt with immediately. If we don’t act now, we are likely
facing another several decades of a secularly-driven Supreme Court!

With our new campaign, “Order in the Court,” we can do something to
impact the future moral direction of our country. We know that with
your help, we can succeed.

We already succeeded with the Voter’s Guide, thanks to the support of
loyal Catholics. With the distribution of more than 10 million copies
of the Voter’s Guide, countless Catholics voted their faith in the
critically important elections of last November.

continued…

Now it’s time to influence the nomination and appointment process
for Supreme Court justices, which all signs indicate will take place
during the current Bush Administration.

With your donations and the purchase of “Supreme Injustice,” we’ll
be able to inform millions of Catholics about the crucial time
we’re facing. We can make a real difference in America.

Take a moment to donate to this important project today.

We must all do our part to fight for what’s right and to prevent
evil from triumphing.

Take the first step and make your donation today.

I love Toronto. In the summer. Or in the winter if I happen to have tickets to a hockey game, which has only happened once.

You do need help but I can only handle one country at a time.

You are wrong. Equal protection before the law is the rule.
Equal protection for gays, but not unborn babies? They are **people **too and they deserve the same EQUAL rights as all of us. But really, who cares about them, since they don’t have the ability to speak, they must not really be alive. Same with Terry Shiavo, If you don’t have the ability to speak, your not given the same rights as the rest of society. You are less than human and you will be exterminated if somebody doesn’t want you burdoning them.

I guess “equal protection before the law” only applies to a select few. Some people are more “equal” than others.

No no. Think again, Brad. It is better if we put together an international pro-life political platform first. And then apply the grids to local governments… Thoughts? Brass band with parade?

You hate judges who “promote their own agenda” (hardly) but you’d gladly see Bush nominate an utlra-conservative, extremist judge…and we all know that they never promote their agendas.

I don’t hate anybody. I want judges that do not make law and that do not force their immorality on the people against their will.

This week we are expecting a vote to change the current judicial
filibuster rules, and we need every member of our online team to
take immediate action with us!

Bradley, we believe this may be the most critical update
we have sent out in recent memory, because the impact of this
judicial “log-jam” is far-reaching and stands to impact every
American for generations to come–unless we work together to
break it.

That is why we are sending out this NATIONAL CALL TO ACTION message,
urging every member of our online team to take immediate action with
us–before this anticipated vote takes place.

Here’s how you can help:
Code:
+ + ACTION ITEM #1--Call your Senators Today!
Bradley, it is vital that ALL senators–regardless of their
position–be asked to support the upcoming filibuster vote.

For those who do not support the rules change, it is important to
remind them that unless the delicate balance of power is restored,
irreparable harm will be done to our nation.

Please take a moment right now to contact both of your senators,
urging them to fully support a change in the current filibustering
rules. Remember, this change applies only to the filibustering of
judicial nominees.

Simply call the Capitol Switchboard, and they will quickly connect you:
Code:
             202-224-3121
And remember, when you call, please be polite and identify yourself
as a member of the Center for Reclaiming America.
  • +ACTION ITEM #2–Contact the Key Swing Vote Senators
The Center has identified seven key senators whose votes may well
decide the fate of the filibuster rules change. We are asking all
member of our online team to contact these individual senators,
urging each to FULLY SUPPORT THE FILIBUSTERING RULES CHANGE.

Even if none of these seven senators is your own senator, please
invest the time needed to call each right now.
Code:
Here are their names and contact information:
Sen. Lincoln Chafee (RI) 202-224-2921
Sen. Susan Collins (ME) 202-224-2523

Sen. John McCain (AZ) 202-224-2235
Sen. Olympia Snowe (ME) 202-224-5344
Sen. John Sununu (NH) 202-224-2841
Sen. John Warner (VA) 202-224-2023
    • ACTION ITEM #3–Alert Your Friends and Family
Bradley, well-funded, well-organized liberal groups like the
ACLU, NOW, NARAL, and others are aggressively working to keep
conservative nominees from being confirmed.

To counter their destructive influence, we must alert Christians
throughout the nation to take IMMEDIATE action with us!

Please invest the time and energy needed to make certain that ALL
of your family and friends are aware of what is at stake and encourage
them to impact this issue with you.

With your help, we can restore the balance of power in our nation by
breaking the judicial “log-jam” that is threatening to suffocate our
nation.

Please call today!

Thank you for taking action with us.
