"Wins out"??
The "RC" has no choice in the matter?

First of all - it’s not a contest. The Catholic Church is the ONLY Church established by Jesus himself - in case you forgot the first time I told you.

Secondly, although Jesus gave us the basic formula for the mass, it was further built upon by men guided by the Holy Spirit.

**Once again, your complete lack **of understanding of the mass and abhorrent grasp of history has exposed you.

Lastly, please work on your sentence structure.

Have a GREAT day! 👍
What I find interesting in Frank J.'s 'opinion, is the fact that he thinks the Lefebvre group is going to take over the RCs as he puts it. Well if he thinks Lefebvre is so right, then why on earth would they want to “take over” the RCs? Why don’t they go on marching on their merry little way and be happy about it if they are soooooo right. I am still of the opinion that those who hate and argue against the Catholic Church, know they are wrong and hate to admit it. Thats why they refuse to listen whenever someone tries to explain the truth to them.

Exactly.
Frank J and people like him are just angry, immature anti-Catholics.

**I wrote it? Source, please . . **

Since you’ve already demonstrated that you don’t know what Marxist Liberation Theology is, and are equally ignorant of the Catholic Church’s position on it, I’m not surprised that you didn’t know it was the first official document by the Catholic Church to endorse Marxist Liberation Theology.

Hey

I’m not the angry, immature anti-Catholics here that you so called claim for me. If I were, I would be working for Jack Chick?? I don’t think much of owner of Jack Chick and his junk stuff that he writes.

I have close friends that are Catholic religionist and we tackle difficult questions like the topic I talk about here. I very truthful with them and talk about the troubles that your Church has at this time. I have know the Nuns I have as friends since 1988 when I travel to Greymoor, N.Y…

It’s the Catholics that have the hang up; not me. I not the angry one here; it is your group. I’m just here to remind you of the sins that have not had justice rendered to the victims. Show me a bishop that is serving time in jail what they did to the victims?? It called aiding and abetting and it is a crime.

Don’t forget it’s not my Church moving around child molester as priests. Then claming and then that your Church stands for morally.

Look who hanging out at the Vatican, its Cardinal Law the very same one it’s that amazing.

My Church would have kicked him out as a leader, if he had been in my Orthodox Church.

You just don’t get it do you???

You can not take a statement about you Church. You church needs to admit it has a problem with your bishops.

The Catholic Church has a much low rating inn my eyes then the so called pagans, that don’t even know who GOD is.

All the Christians in this world get a black eye because of the so called caring bishops of the so called RC Church.

The Traditionalists get out of the so called Liberals Church aka Novus Ordo Church. The Catholics who really want to serve GOD and not those so country club bishops that hang out at the Vatican need to take charge of there Church.

Lets look at my Church stand on moral issues like pro-life we are law abiding people we are try to live as good Christians we don’t harbor ill will. That even goes for you Roman Catholic. I thank GOD every day that I’m Orthodox Christian. When a bishop Priest or religionist break moral code we Orthodox hold we deal with them as need. We don’t allow any crimes against our people or our faith to continual in there serves. Maybe your Church needs to embrace Orthodoxy as belief system it may help the western church.

Your topic in this chat room is “looking for non-Catholic opinion” ; well you have it in my many chats.

Have a great day.

**I’m still waiting . . . **

Produce it.

These issues are debated among Catholics so I thought I’d get the opinon of some non-Catholics (Protestant, Jew, Hindu, Wiccan…I don’t care, just as long as you’re not Catholic and fervent in your own religion). What do you think of:
You asked for it.
The prayer meeting of Assisi?
No idea what that is.
The changes in the Mass?
Doesn’t affect me.
The priest facing the people?
It’s better.
The reception of Communion from the Cup?
That’s fine.
The use of EOMHCs?
I have no idea what this is.
The vernacular?
Very good.
Communion in the hand?
Of course this is good.
The excommunication of Archbishop Lefebvre?
Don’t know anything about it.
The traditional movement in general?
Whatever floats the boat.
The Pope praying for the coming of the Messiah in the synogogue?
Crass and unthoughtful.
The statement that Jews, Christians, and Muslims worship the same God?
Totally false.

Peace…

Honestly, none of it matters to me. No offense meant here but I don’t believe that the RCC is the one true church that Christ established therefore it doesn’t matter to me what is changed or deleted or added or whatever. I believe in orthodoxy in Christianity but I do not believe that it is soley posessed by the RCC.

**Still waiting for you to produce that “Peublo” or “Pueblo” Report. **Can’t produce it?
**I thought so . . . :tsktsk: **

Until you prove your claims, you’re just another bitter anti-Catholic.

I’m sorry, this just cracked me up! (and I agree with you, btw). I can almost hear you saying this!

Are you so insecure in your faith that you are scared to death of my “conversion” attempts?

Having been on the end of some conversion attempts myself, my predominant feeling is “bored to death” rather than “scared to death”. The zealous types who tend to go in for that sort of thing often recycle the same old arguments. They would do well to heed the advice of Saint Francis: “Preach always, use words if you have to.” It is the unwritten rather than the written that will have the greater impact.

[As an OT aside, does anyone have the actual source for that quote from St Francis of Assisi? I have often seen it but have never been able to track it down precisely.]

All I can think of is that you are scared to death, because all I had asked was a very simple question which did not warrent such a violent reaction from you.

The only true
** view is that the Catholic Church is the ONLY Church established by Jesus Christ. **

Jesus of Nazareth, a nice teacher, who was very familiar with the Hebrew scriptures, was misunderstood by his followers, who proceeded to break away from the earliest and true faith - Judaism - to form a new ‘religion’ - and same church has spent
the last 10 centuries in deep quarrel over which Church
[ecclesia] is the true Church.

And what is the purpose of each Christian church?
Offering a savior… from that which never existed - original sin.
Proclaiming Godhead as three persons in one deity.

‘one’ is boring, three is ‘better’?] http://bestsmileys.com/nono/9.gif

What is soley true - about Christianity, is that same has
brought forward the reality of the one God. Which is
a very nice thing.

The zealous types that you say recycle the same old arguments are only telling you the truth. The Truth will never change. Maybe someday the truth will sink in. Who knows, I do believe in miracles.
And on a forum like this, the unwritten word would be a little hard to read, don’t you think??
If you want to practice what you preach, why are you here??

**I beg **to differ. Not only did Jesus come to save the world, he came to build his Church, which was the fulfillment - not the dismantling of Judaism (Matt. 16:17-19).

The Catholic Church doesn’t quarrel about who the true Church is becaus Jesus only built one - the Catholic Church.

All of the other factions that divorced themselves from the Catholic Church then from each other - they’re the ones quarreling.

The zealous types that you say recycle the same old arguments are only telling you the truth.
But some tell me the truth that I am saved by baptism, some tell me the truth that I am saved by faith and some tell me the truth that I am damned to hell for all eternity after I die. There is more than one truth that they are telling me.
And on a forum like this, the unwritten word would be a little hard to read, don’t you think?
It is the thoughts behind the words that I was referring to, rather than the words themselves. Some people come across as extremely angry, others do not.
If you want to practice what you preach, why are you here?
For information (both ways) and amusement.
