The “left” - that monolith?Yes, I realize that. The left keeps leaving out the language part now. I was on these forums when Trump was vilified and called horrible names for using that term for female genitalia .
Please link to the forum discussion. Would love to check them out.The objection over the language was brought up over and over in the media and on these forums.
What forums, really? If it’s Christian forums, well what did you expect?Yes, I realize that. The left keeps leaving out the language part now. I was on these forums when Trump was vilified and called horrible names for using that term for female genitalia .
I reviewed the tape. It did include the words I apologize. But it wasn’t exactly psalm 90. And he did not ask for forgiveness. And he apologized, did he not?
It seems that unlike our Lord’s command to forgive 70 x 7, there are some who can’t find it in their hearts to forgive even once. . .
You seem overly pressed and I’ll reiterate it’s not a disgusting comment at all, especially in comparison to the things said at the March. There were no rational arguments made at the March. Only arguments were irrational, hateful, vial arguments made by a bunch of privileged, foul mouthed, treason spewing, phoney women, who would have their daughters believe they are marching for anything of substance and who seem to hate the world because Hillary didn’t win the election. No, it is a disgusting statement. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a woman or not – equating protesting women with one who’s simply got PMS is disgusting. Way to completely and irrationally dismiss a woman’s arguments. You don’t have to agree with these marchers. But making a comment about their menstrual cycles is just pathetic. Might as well say it’s fine for folks to dismiss Sarah Palin, Eleanor Roosevelt, or Mother Teresa’s complaints because they were just “on the rag.” If you’re a woman, take more pride in your sex. Even if those marching don’t.
Bravo! As always a spot on post! You seem overly pressed. I’ll reiterate it’s not even remotely a disgusting comment in comparison to the things said at the March.
The “Women’s March” was a bunch of grandstanding about issues nobody is threatening take. Funny how these women from around the world have never marched against the brutal Islamic subjugation of their fellow sisters but they find their voice when it comes to a democratically elected President. End of argument for me. That says it all!
Once again… we heard things like:
“I want to blow up the White House”,
“Trump is Hitler”,
A poem was read about Trump having sex with his daughter, etc.,etc.,etc.
Some of these women even took young children to be exposed to some really disgusting stuff.
Now if you want to equate what you saw and heard yesterday with Sarah Palin, Eleanor Roosevelt, or Mother Teresa’s complaints then that’s on you. Making that comparison is beyond an astronomical difference.
Once again have no problem with the right to peacefully protest but a lot of what I saw and heard yesterday makes me wonder what happened to strong women with class and dignity.
I’m also truly convinced the big ***** swarm of 2017 is truly intellectually lost. I don’t understand how they believe some of the stuff they do, like their lives as bad as the Jews did during the Holocaust…Sad that these women see their lives as bad as the Jews did during the Holocaust. Maybe they should do some actual research on Hitler. He was dragging political opponents out of their houses during family supper and having them executed in the streets. . If Trump was Hitler these fools would be to afraid to speak out against him. Maybe we need to get some real holocaust survivors to let these sorry excuses for people know what Hitler really was. Pathetic. And they funny thing is if you ask these people “Why do you think that?” most of them will say “Uhhhh, because”. And they are the ones wearing the Brown blouses - got their history a little messed up. Ironic, isn’t it…physician; heal thyself? They march around like Nazis & yet they Call President Trump Hitler. Unreal. Sadly these women have no clue of history. Trump is doing the exact opposite of Hitler. Tells me people need to read some history books and our education system is a failure.
Makes me wish as a woman they didn’t call this a Woman’s March and insinuate by its name that they represent all women as they promote their causes and in such profane and vulgar ways. Women like this are going backwards, into the Neanderthal era, and labeling the rest of us with them.Great…That doesn’t strengthen us …it only diminishes us. It was truly a sad day for real women. The ones who care for their family and love their children and just want a better future for everyone.
I laugh at the celebrities because they’ve never budget to make ends meet. They don’t have to drop the kids off, go to work, pick up the kids, stop at the market, fix dinner, sit for hours at a game. Hope it doesn’t end late because you have to do it all again tomorrow. They live privileged lives. If I did want them to represent me, I certainly wouldn’t pick the ones who spoke yesterday.
Trumps words “When your rich and famous they LET YOU, do anything you want, even grab…” LET YOU is not sexual assault. LET YOU = consensual. Trump never bragged about sexually assaulting women. There is a difference and you’re missing it and so is everyone else.God forgives (and so do I) when a person shows repentance. Trump has not shown any sign of repenting for the sexual assaults he bragged about committing.
It’s like when my brother physically assaulted me, and after I estranged myself from my family because of it my mother asked why I couldn’t just get over it.
I don’t think you get it. “They’re doing it too” or “They said things much worse” doesn’t make that comment less offensive. It’s still wrong, it’s an excuse used to brush off what angry women had to say. You could have chosen better words to describe their behavior (I’m assuming you made the comment, I didn’t check) instead of saying it was pmsYou seem overly pressed. I’m not sure what you’re talking about here…who said "They’re doing it too…or “They said things much worse.” I for one didn’t say that.I don’t think you get it. “They’re doing it too” or “They said things much worse” doesn’t make that comment less offensive. He apologized for the talk and said he was ashamed of it, but denied he committed such acts. He didn’t deny what was said, that would have been silly considering it was on tape.He said he regretted the language, and then attempted to dismiss it as locker room talk. He didn’t apologize for committing sexual assault; denied that he did it, in fact.
" I’ll reiterate it’s not even remotely a disgusting comment in comparison to the things said at the March. "I’m not sure what you’re talking about here…who said "They’re doing it too…or “They said things much worse.” I for one didn’t say that.
I think you’re missing the important points made here…
Trumps words “When your rich and famous they LET YOU, do anything you want, even grab…” LET YOU is not sexual assault. LET YOU = consensual. Trump never bragged about sexually assaulting women. There is a difference and you’re missing it and so is everyone else.
Not that this dismisses is comments as being vulgar especially for a 70 year old man, but it’s not sexual assault. I’m a women in my early 30’s and I have friends who are rich and professional athletes. I’ve been out with them and the things women let rich men/athletes do to them can be outright disgusting and exactly what Trump said.
Is this serious?
Amen, President Trump (I am never going to get tired of saying that) is rich, powerful, famous, knows how to cut a favorable deal, and has no shortage of self-confidence. The fact that women routinely throw themselves at that sort of a guy is not sexual assault.
Yes.Is this serious?
You are simply wrong on this.Trumps words “When your rich and famous they LET YOU, do anything you want, even grab…” LET YOU is not sexual assault. LET YOU = consensual. Trump never bragged about sexually assaulting women. There is a difference and you’re missing it and so is everyone else.
You omitted the crucial part. “I just start…, I don’t even wait…”Trump: … I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.
Bush: Whatever you want.
Trump: Grab ’em by the *****. You can do anything.
justice.gov/ovw/sexual-assaultSexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient.
But that is not what Trump talked about, He talked about throwing himself onto women.
The fact that women routinely throw themselves at that sort of a guy is not sexual assault.
“I’ll reiterate it’s not a disgusting comment at all, especially in comparison to the things said at the March.”" I’ll reiterate it’s not even remotely a disgusting comment in comparison to the things said at the March. "
You were trying to justify the comment with the things said at the march.
I don’t get how you don’t see that comment is offensive to all women. Pms, something natural in women, is not the explanation of why these women are ignorant and crass. I know you didn’t really mean it that way, and you probably meant to be funny, but so did a lot of people who make jokes like that to the point where a woman is not taken seriously because “it’s that time of the month”. Go blame their behavior on something else, not on something natural that almost all women go through. It’s more offensive to the female sex rather than the left imo
He does not wait for what? You just filled in the blank with your own imagination. The statement is ambiguous. You omitted the crucial part. “I just start…, I don’t even wait…”
Nice try, but sexual assault is defined by the USC, UCMJ and state statute. That blurb from the Obama DOJ has no legal authority to guide a jury in determining what is and is not sexual assault.justice.gov/ovw/sexual-assault
I have no idea why people try to justify this type of behavior. It leads to all kinds of problems.
