I agree, however that is not the job of a moderator. They ask the question, and give time to respond. The public makes up their mind. If the person eludes the question, the people are the ones who decide at the ballot.

In what circumstances are Republicans for abortion, I have read on a thread or two here, there was one or two?

Generally they allow for exceptions such as rape and incest. There are very few who favor total elimination of abortions.

In my opinion, they should just be honest and say they’re for status quo.
