His miracles are just as wondrous as Catholic miracles. Never question the Lord or how he works his magic!

Unless of course, Catholic miracles are authentic, and those Protestant healers are a bunch of frauds…👍
Do you actually believe that Hinn works miracles? Have you seen the many reports that have exposed him as a fraud? In one investigation I saw on TV they interviewed a women who was “cured” A year later she died of the disease she was “cured” of.

I’ve never seen so many bodies hit the floor the way they do when Hinn waves his arm at people…LOL! Don’t these people learn there lesson even after finding out about the Jim and Tammy Fay’s of the world. Hinn is a fraud.

Don’t even try to compare the two! Hinn is making millions and has the houses and cars to prove it. The Children at Fatima were poor and remained poor…they had nothing to gain by lying.

Believe what you want, but your sons recovery appears to have been a statistical certainty. I however will not believe your exaggerated and fantastical tales of how the Creator of the Universe personally intervened to assist your son, yet ignored those 16,000 children who starved to death.

One fact about all types of secretory tumors is that complete control of hormone overproduction does not occur immediately. Control of hormone overproduction may take several months to two or three years or more.

Gamma Knife focused radiation should be considered part of the pattern of care for patients with secretory and non-secretory pituitary tumors with the goal of controlling and eventually curing the problem. Part of the comprehensive approach to the care of a patient with pituitary disease is regular endocrine monitoring. Since there is a risk of development of pituitary hormone deficiency, every patient should be monitored regularly and appropriate hormone replacement instituted if a hormone deficiency develops. Another important part of follow up is an MRI scan to measure the size of the residual tumor or pituitary gland. Although uncommon, a few patients who have had any type of pituitary radiation may have growth of the tumor, which may require additional surgery. In essence, all patients who have had a pituitary tumor require regular examinations, with particular attention to the need for hormone replacement and regular MRI studies to assess pituitary tumor size. With the proper combination of medical, surgical and radiation therapy, patients with a pituitary tumor should be able to lead a normal life and have a normal life expectancy.
NDfan, just ignore this sad creature, phantasm. He is arrogantly blowing off your belief in your son’s miraculous recovery all the while trying to give the impression that he is knowledgeable in the field of neurosurgery.

His “expertise” was copy and pasted from the University of Virginia’s website: healthsystem.virginia.edu/internet/neurosurgery/gamma-pituitary.cfm.

The arrogance and know-it-allism of atheists is strikingly similar to that of another group of “believers” I won’t name.

phantasm, I too have experienced a miraculous healing from a Catholic priest in which my husband was healed almost 100% from congestive heart failure. Before the priest he was at death’s door. And he’s only 46 years old His nose bleeds from coumadin for 5 years, his enlarged heart, his 15% working heart, his 25 lb. weight gain and his life span was not going to be very long. When I took him for a private healing, and then for his eccocardiagram the following week, they immediately took him off the coumadin, his heart started pooling again, it went from 15 to 35 % (out of 60% for everyone), he lost 22 lbs., his cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart) actually shrunk way down, and he is expected to live another 20 years or so.
Coincidence? I think not. He is going to be confirmed Easter vigil for his confirmation into the Catholic church because he feels this truly was a miracle from God through this Catholic priest. There was no cure especially for his cardiomyopathy. Thank you Jesus.

I don’t need to question the good Lord about Benny Hinn **because it’s not from God **…

Not like the 80,000 pilgrims to Lourdes every year who are all healed!

When was the last healing at Lourdes? 40 years ago or something like that.

Your calling Benny Hinn a fraud!

Who told you this?

Who told you that Lourdes is from God?

What if God personally spoke to a protestant believer and told them that Benny Hinn was from God.

That would settle it wouldn’t it?

I was curious if other religions (Protestants, Hindu, etc.) have “miraculous” occurances. I’m wanting to test a theory that I have.

God Bless,

Jessica
JAGCath28:

While some people like to run their mouth, nit pick a point or the like, after this exchange with is off the OP piece, I am curious what your theory was, if you don’t mind sharing it?

I was amazed at all the “Miracles in Other Religions”. And as far as the exchange with the Atheist, not much to add, except maybe before that first quark in the world,….where did it come from?

My sense your OP went way off topic, but some, even better information along the way. Again, your thoughts or theory would be appreciated! 🙂

To compare Lourdes to Benny Hinn is an out and out insult. The Blessed Virgin **appeared **to Bernadette and told her who she was. Is that not good enough for you? God did not personally speak to anyone about Benny Hinn because he is a charleton and everyone but you knows it. You keep making a complete fool out of yourself. So keep doing it.

Yes. No I do not believe that the creator of the universe turned a piece of bread into a piece of his sons heart in the year 700.
So are you saying you disagree with the results of the WHO?

I wanted to offer you a little tidbit about the bloodtype found in the eucharist, it is type AB, the same blood type found on the Shroud of Turin.

I also find it quite coincidental that type AB is known as the universal recipient, the Church is universal as in Catholic, and we as Catholics are all recipients of his blood.

Don’t you just love God! :extrahappy:

**Phantasm, **like many other atheists doesn’t believe in anything spiritual or faith based. Unless he personally sees someone sprout another arm or leg, or all proverty being eliminated in an instant, he will stick to the real world.

In the mean time he condemns God for allowing evil and poor children to die of starvation or illness. I think a lot of folks have this exact same outlook on God and religion. One of my sons thinks exactly the same way. IF God is real why does He allow evil in the world, why does He not just make everything perfect. Why doesn’t He heal amputees, amke new limbs ? Why doesn’t He prove Himself to everyone and have open miracles for all to see all the time ?

Is God incapable of these things ? Does He choose to ignore the poor starving children ? or is God a myth or product of our wishful thinking. Obviously, the atheists have concluded the latter. Since God does not do the hugely miraculous, does not openly perform the spectaular for all to see, does not correct all the ills and huge problems of the world then God does not exist.

They forget that this is Earth NOT Heaven. This is an imperfect world with sin and suffering, pain, sorrow and death. With free will the world is open to do right or wrong. Each human being has a choice to accept good or evil, and with each choice is a consequence that can cause pain or suffering or help alleviate pain or suffering.

Jesus could have come into the world and instantly eliminated all pain, suffering and death, virtually turning the earth into Heaven. God could have made creation with no choices, no evil or sin to cause pain or suffering. But God chose not to do that. Why or why not ? Does God want people to suffer and die ? Is He some sadistic being who likes to watch inferior creatures in misery ?

No, God allowed free will because He wants us to accept Him and love Him without forcing us to do so. We have to freely accept Him from our own free choice. Life is a test of whether we will love God of our own volition. The result of free will is sin and suffering and the way we show or prove that we love God above all else is in how we treat those who are poor or suffering. Charity and love of those less fortunate are the pathways that prove that we believe what Jesus taught us.

As far as miracles go, they are signs of God’s presence. There is no “statistical certainty” that if X number of folks visit a certain place, THEN Y number of miracles will occur. That is mathematical rubbish.

There have been many Eucharistic miracles, not just the only in Luccaino therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/a3.html AND God DOES want folks to believe that the bread and wine at the mass actually and physically does become the Body and Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. WHY ?? because He wants EVERYONE to remember that He sent His only Son into the world to suffer and die for our sins.

And there are several incorrupt bodies of saints and NO, they are not embalmed or sealed in air tight containers. And even IF they were, their bodies would not smell of roses or remain supple.

And what are the statistical likelihood of one person like Padre Pio or Catherine of Sienna, or St. Anthony of Padua or hundred s of others, performing hundreds or thousands of miracles ?

If I, an Atheist, am living in the real world, where does that leave you?

I think he means the (visible) material world by real world. All of us Christians realize that our reality here on earth is finite and as such we should keep our eyes on the reality of eternity in the afterlife.

So, life doesn’t really begin until we die.

So, this real life in the visible world, is just a trial, until our invisible spirit life that lasts for eternity begins after we die.

Yeah, when I put it that way, it doesn’t sound so plausible, now does it.

16,000 children die of starvation everyday of the year and you folk are getting excited about the Creator of the Universe healing someones chronic back pain?

have you done anything yourself?
God bless.

what makes you think that we pray only?
This is a thread about divine miracles directly from Gods intervention. I am aware that many Christians put themselves to work to help out all kinds of people.
