- It must be of a grave matter; (violating the unitive and procreative aspects of the marital act is grave matter)
- It must be committed with full knowledge that it is a mortal sin; (if she has read this thread, she is aware of this)
- It must be committed with full consent. (she has consented)(CCC# 1857)
Going by the Church’s criteria, janesansible would indeed be in mortal sin if she contracepts.
