The study covered people 1 year after an abortion, and again 5 years later.I remember reading in the 1970s how all these studies showed that divorce had little to no effect on the children. Then when those children were older, the bad effects started showing up.
How about seeing whether abortion has an effect a few years later?
And sometimes these things take even longer than that to acknowledge. I have read about women who didn’t really think about what had occurred until they married and beame pregnant, then it hit them.The study covered people 1 year after an abortion, and again 5 years later.
And Satan’s not real either.
So, by mean age 21-22, no significantly higher measure of depression!!Respondents who had had an abortion were similar in age to those reporting other outcomes (mean, 16.7–16.8 years);
If true it is a clear indication of how callous American women have become.
I wonder if anyone is studying the question?I wonder, does abortion cause denial?
But Priscilla Coleman, a Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green University,…says its publication in a journal run by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, a former arm of the Planned Parenthood abortion business, means the study is “hardly unbiased.”
Coleman closely examined the new study and said no conclusions should be drawn from it about teens having abortions and depression because “the sample of women who aborted was very small (69) resulting in limited statistical power.”
She says the authors acknowledge the limitations associated with the small sample size on page 234 of their study, saying, “The lack of association between abortion and our outcomes could reflect other factors including insufficient sample size to detect an effect.”
Not 100%, but near there. You’re forgetting about Gianna Jessen, Melissa Ohden, and other survivors.Abortion murders 100% of intended victims. They don’t even need to study that one.
What this paragraph says is that girls that chose abortion are no more depressed than the group with an already high amount of depression and lower self-esteem. Is that really a recommendation for a procedure?She said previous research has shown that adolescent girls who get pregnant report more depression and lower self-esteem compared to those who don’t. “What we didn’t know was whether psychological outcomes are worse for girls who choose abortion. This study says, ‘No.’”
This is the punchline of a joke right??National study: Abortion does not cause depression or low self-esteem in adolescents
So morality is based solely on how we feel about something we’ve done? If I kill my neighbor is it okay as long as it does not cause depression or low self-esteem?
Critically, this “study” probably amounts to little more than propaganda. Even if the “finding” is accurate, the good of the person, in this case adolescents who had abortions, has to be understood in terms of their entire life. That’s what pro abortionists keep forgetting,and trying to get the rest of the world to forget; that life is a whole (holy).
