You need only read the threads in CAF, read the mainstream press or listen the Democrat politicians to know the far-reaching attitude among left that government is responsible for charity and voting for higher taxes is patriotic and moral, opposing them is immoral. . I’m sorry that is a political philosophy that you have chosen to embrace but trying to run away the implications of your philosophy simply does not work.

Regardless of what the fawning press would lead you believe Obama has offered no plan. The Democrats have not even issued a budget for close to three years. . The Republicans, on the other hand, passed the budget in the house with $6 trillion in cuts over the next 10 years and have put a detailed $2 trillion cut on the table as part of the debt limit negotiations. Obama claims he has a plan that includes cuts and tax increases that will save $4.2 trillion but refuses to give the details , but again the fawning press reports this as intransigence on the Republicans part for not accepting Obama’s deal because it has tax increases, totally ignoring the fact that Obama has offered no details

It’s actually three wars. One Obama started, and another he claimed he would end within 18 months of becoming president. The third is the one he said we should be fighting all along. He might have missed the mark a bit but supposedly combat troops are now out of Iraq.
A bit? He was aiming for a target and shot his own foot…
He announced earlier this month that he is going to leave at least 10,000 troops in Iraq indefinitely. Hopefully were not going to be get into a semantics game as what constitutes “combat” troops and what does not. . No matter how you want to parse it he did not meet his promises to pull troops out of Iraq within 18 months, to close Gitmo and to not get the the Untied States involved in any more combat actions. . He has, however,kept promise to keep funding the culture of death. .
He did manage to reinstitute United States funding of overseas abortions and successfully blocked Congress’s attempt to cut funding for Planned Parenthood.
My nephew will be suprised to learn he’s not a member of a “combat troop”. For some reason he’s getting combat pay.
