This is so completely wrong, that I honestly don’t know where to begin.

Let me throw out one: the NHS has had to ration procedures. Just as an example,I know 1 fellow in England personally who pulled out 2 aching teeth with pliers because he was on a waiting list and couldn’t take the pain any more.

The people who are stupid enough to hang around and get robbed deserve it. Perhaps robbing them is a form of charity, i mean how else will these people learn?

Lies. I’ve lived in Great Britain and they would panic if they had what we have here. Their health care system has some small issues, but it’s far better than the USA system.

I’ve lived in Great Britain and they would panic if they had what we have here. Their health care system has some small issues, but it’s far better than the USA system.

This happened to an relative of mine in Italy, as well. He needed a new knee, and never got it, despite being in great pain.

If he lived here, he would of had it in a matter of weeks.

Define “level playing field”. My wife and I had fifty cents to our names and we made it on our own. I don’t recall the Holy Family taking handouts, or Joseph and Jesus complaining about a “level playing field” in the carpentry profession. They worked hard and made it themselves.

What do you want? Free college for everyone? Disproportionate tax rates for the wealthy to reduce them to the middle class? Perpetual affirmative action? Guaranteed minimum incomes for everyone regardless of their trade or occupation?

You don’t think our defence budget is bankrupting the country too? Or how about the war mongering across the middle east? I’m sure supplying arms and intel in this Arab spring wasn’t free.

I had high doubts you were telling the truth, simply because I’ve never met anyone in Britain who ever spoke positive of the USA’s health system.

And report me if you want, I could care less…

We waste a huge amount of money for defense, granted.

However, I spend that money with no big problem. Obamacare will get me absolutely nothing, except rationing and death panels.

German doctors fear health care rationing

No equal access with Germany’s “universal” health care

Nhs debt is larger than the bailout Cyprus want. Long waiting times seem to be a norm. Doctors say treatment will have to be rationed. Rationing on the Nhs is forcing people to go private in Britain. Australia has a mixed health care system with goverment and private so it is not comparable to Britain or Germany

Annually thousands around the world go to the US to treat health issues even though they have to pay for it. Do as many go to Britain, Germany or Australia? Would not bet on it

Better by what standard? You keep throwing out facts with no support.

How are their economies better? By what standard? And were they better from 2001-2008?

How is the NHS better? And what tradeoffs do you allow for, since nothing is free. IF there WAS a perfect system, we’d all use it.

You want to gut medicare and social security to pay for an NHS? Gut defense, and lay of tens of thousands, spiking uinemployment (creating more poor, not helping the existing poor)?

Raising taxes on investments, thus causing a decrease in revenue? The highest rates of revenue in history occured under George W Bush.

Regardless, even if I wasn’t affiliated with a party, or didn’t care about frankly far more important issues like abortion and euthenasia, I’d look at the results of the last four years and say “that didn’t work.” Common sense would tell someone that.
