Surely you jest!It is my understanding that he is going to Hawaii and has already purchased property there (or someone has done it for him) near the University of Hawaii.

Apparently a $35 million estate was purchased near UH, where the Barack Obama Presidential Library and Political Action Center are planned to be built. Trying to lock in a credible source, most of what I am coming up with is retreads from a WND story, and I refuse to post anything from there are be labelled by the “less than conservative” crowd here.Surely you jest!
I am trying to figure out how a man who demonizes the ultra rich, and does not appear to have ever had the means of ever MAKING $35 million, can afford to purchase a home of this luxury? How do you clamour on about being for “the little guy” and then go out an buy a home that the “little guy” couldn’t even dream about living in. Hypocrisy on display.Apparantly the Obamas have bought a $35 million property in Hawaii
North Carolina voters are split in their support of President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the 2012 race for the White House enters its final days, according to the latest Elon University Poll.
With just over a week until Election Day, Republican challenger Romney and Democratic incumbent Obama both claim 45 percent of the vote in the Tar Heel State; about 5 percent of voters remain undecided, and within that group, leanings are evenly divided. Two percent said “neither.”
Findings indicate a tightening of the race in North Carolina since late August when the Elon University Poll found Romney with a lead of 4 percentage points.
I’m disappointed. I thought Romney had NC locked up fairly well, particularly given the results of other recent polls.
So, in other words, business creation and entrepreneurship are independent of marginal tax rates?Clinton had the benefit of the dot.com bubble which created overnight millionaires and also more start up companies than the country had seen in a long time.
There are a couple of issues here. First, there aren’t enough poor people who otherwise wouldn’t have qualified for mortgages to create a mess of this magnitude. A bank lending money to someone to buy a $500k house in California with no money down is not the fault of the government, it is the fault of the bank’s stupidity and greed. Second, housing prices increased much more modestly under Clinton that under Bush and for much of the Bush Administration the Republicans controlled both houses of congress, so Bush could have unwound the burdensome regulations if we was either smart enough to or politically competent enough too. So Bush cannot blame Clinton for his own failures.Clinton also helped to create the housing bubble, which during his tenure as president, made things look good as home prices were rising due to people who would not have qualified for loans previously getting in the market. Unfortunately, someone else was left holding the bag when the check came due. A not insignificant portion of the mess we are in now can be traced directly back to the policies he pushed on home ownership and loan qualifications.
Sample is democrat plus 9 and it is a tie. Consider that
It’s a 4 point gain for the President since late August. I assume they used the same methods then.Sample is democrat plus 9 and it is a tie. Consider that
Civitas had Obama leading Romney by NC by 4 points in september, by 2 points in a nbc/wsj/marsist pollIt’s a 4 point gain for the President since late August. I assume they used the same methods then.
John
The Elon poll had the President down by 4,he is now tied in the same poll…4 point move in this poll.Civitas had Obama leading Romney by NC by 4 points in september, by 2 points in a nbc/wsj/marsist poll
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, often known for a combative and aggressive manner, put aside partisanship for the moment and praised President Barack Obama’s preparation for Hurricane Sandy.
*I have stopped watching CNN at certain hours precisely for the reasons you state above. I also do not like Piers Morgan and wish he would stop saying he is Catholic!CNN is not as biased as MSNBC, but it is still biased.
Think about Candy Crowly during the debate, she actually “participated” Even if later she
apologized, the damage was done…
Then Wolf Blitzer said that she did a wonderful job
In addition have any of you noticed, how the liberals on CNN in Anderson Coopers show,
like the VanJones guy, or Carville, or Gloria Borger, get so emotional, defensive when trying
to defend Obama.
And now compare the 2 supposedly Republicans, they will actually give credit when
credit is due, when talking about Obama, the liberals do not do the same.
I used to really like Anderson Coopers show, but it is all biased as well
The reality checks, fact checking also lean towards Obama.
Also, look at how much if any time has been given to the Benghazi attack, etc.?
The Benghazi attack, cover up, lies is a huge deal, yet hardly any coverage at all…
The Canadian poster above is right! Sadly, she is right!
Journalism is gone in AmericaIntegrity, what???
And the Elon is oversampling democrats as I saidThe Elon poll had the President down by 4,he is now tied in the same poll…4 point move in this poll.
Who is right will be decided on Tuesday.
Still a 4 point move. And the Elon is oversampling democrats as I said
Which could of happened because they weighted the poll differently, percent blacks, percent whites, percent Hispanics etc. Elon appears to be an outlier. Every other poll I have seen from cnn to Rasmussen has shown an Obama lead become an Obama declineStill a 4 point move.
Of course…it has to be something like that…I mean…it doesn’t show your man in the lead.Which could of happened because they weighted the poll differently, percent blacks, percent whites, percent Hispanics etc. Elon appears to be an outlier. Every other poll I have seen from cnn to Rasmussen has shown an Obama lead become an Obama decline
