Bob Schieffer and Jim Leher were the best mods because they did not interrupt so much

Fox News in the tank for Romney. Thats a shocker.
👍 Emperor, you don’t know if Fox commentators declare Romney the winner of the debate, then some people believe Romney won the debate? :bigyikes: I’ve come here to read the comments after each debate. And I can assure you they didn’t watch the same debate I did. Obama was the President tonight. Etch a Sketch just sat there agreeing with our Commander in Chief when he wasn’t denying previous positions.

A CBS News poll was just released of more than FOX commentators.

53% Obama won. Only 23% Romney. Obama takes 2 of the 3 debates.

You are missing out 24% that said it was a tie

She is a blatant Obama supporter. You think she had an idea what the result would be?
She asked one person directly if they switched from undecided to decided and that person turned out to be on the verge of supporting Romney prior to the debate but will now support Obama. The point of having those people there was to determine if the debate moved them out of the undecided category not necessarily who they would vote for.

The CNN scientific poll of debate watchers has Obama winning the debate with %48 and Romney at %40.

I started watching the debate tonight, but kept getting interrupted. No problem since I was
also recording it. So everytime the phone rang, I turned the sound to “mute.”
You get some great visuals that way! Obama is just hard for me to watch… and listen to.
Sure hope he gets the pink slip in November. Decisively! Over the top. A land slide.

New York Times Fact Checkers Mauling Obama

My emphases
The hosts on the cable news channel friendliest to President Obama, MSNBC, groped to find anything friendly to say after the debate on Wednesday night.
Liberal hosts like Ed Schultz were taken aback by what they thought was a weak performance by Mr. Obama. Mr. Schultz, who earlier said he was stunned that Mr. Obama was “off his game,” later threw up his arms and asked, “Where was the president tonight?”
His exasperated colleague Chris Matthews said, “Obama should watch MSNBC.” Mr. Matthews said he felt that Mr. Obama went into the debate “disarmed” and suggested that he would learn something by watching his show, “Hardball,” and MSNBC’s other programs.
“He would learn something about this debate,” Mr. Matthews said. “There’s a hot debate going on in this country. You know where it’s been held? Here on this network is where we’re having the debate. We have our knives out. We go after the people and the facts. What was he doing tonight? He went in there disarmed!”
Or…
Was President Obama surprisingly flat?
Even Stephanie Cutter, the deputy campaign manager for the president, acknowledged that Mr. Romney won the debate on style points, saying so in an interview on CNN.
Mr. Obama has a reputation for being professorial to a fault. During the four years of his presidency, Mr. Obama has often gotten lost in the weeds during town hall meetings or at White House press conferences.
The president who showed up at the debate was similar to the one who Americans have seen day-in and day-out for the last several years.

So far three polls have President Obama winning the debate, which mirrors what I saw with my own eyes and ears.

I was actually quite surprised at how passive Romney was. Quite an odd performance.

Here’s the subtext I heard from a nervous, blinking “Mittens” as opponents call Romney in print, a message Jews and Christians heard loud and clear: “Israel, Israel, Israel.”

Here’s the subtext I heard from a glowering Barack-ula, who blinked even more than Romney: “Shovel-ready jobs for vets to build roads and bridges.” That message workd four years ago but his record just…won’t…go…away.

But was their partison split? Just posted the PPP poll and democrats oversampled by 6 points and wow, Obama has a lead

CNN poll: Wolf says with more Republicans watching, Obama still won their poll too. 48% Obama. 40% Romney. Someone on CNN said there was another poll of undecideds giving the President an even larger advantage. America apparently was watching the same debate I was. The debates are over. Obama took 2. Peace.
