Obama and Romney hit the final stretch

I think Romney will talk quite a lot about China’s currency manipulation, Israel, and Iran, if his past few weeks of campaign rhetoric are any indication.

So far the moderators have let the Democrats do the most talking, so I doubt Romney will get 90 minutes straight. 😉

I know what happened. There are only 2 possibilities, and both of them are about equally bad. Both of them point to a man who doesn’t belong in office. Both of them are crazy.

Either:
  1. He called it a terrorist act on September 12, and then in order to avoid the blame for having a bad set of policies and denying these men security that they had requested, he lied about it on TV, at the UN and to the whole country for 2 weeks until people caught him red-handed, OR
  2. He used the term generally on September 12th, and had no idea what was going on for the whole 2 weeks, even though his own State Department knew. Which means he’s not talking to his own State Dept, or he doesn’t get any of this, or he just plain doesn’t care.
Take your pick. It doesn’t matter which one it really is. They’re all BAD.

And what’s really sickening is that he tried to make a play for sympathy during the last debate–FOR POINTS–by talking about being there with their coffins. Watch the video if you don’t believe me.

And then he goes on TV and says the death of Americans is um…not optimal. Not optimal??? :mad::mad::mad:

Obama is not optimal. He needs to be put out of office. Now.

Agreed. Even she admitted she got it wrong, like admitting to the crime makes it go away. I couldn’t believe how staged that one moment was - she even admitted that Obama cued her and that gave her a look the “made” her speak up. How else did Obama know she had the transcript and that she would misrepresent what it said if it wasn’t planned before hand?

Here we go again…“they’re all the same!”

That’s exactly what the progressives want you to think.

To quote Dennis Prager. those folks voting for the Constitutional Party or Libertarian may as well just vote democrat, because you’re helping them get elected.

At least one Catholic clergy I know will tell you that such a move means you are cooperating with evil, and I would add especially if you know that neither candidate in top tier races has any chance to win!

If anyone thinks that Romney is the “same” or “same old, same old” go and compare his gubernatorial record to that of Reagen or Bush 41.

Good grief, folks!

There’s more to voting than just quieting your consciences and “helping the poor”.

How did we get from talking about how Obama totally messed up Benghazi to “helping the poor?”

Obama messed up Benghazi beyond all recognition. It’s his fault and he should take the blame now. That’s all I’m saying. He lied to us.

Obama deserves to be put out of office. His credibility is gone.

The loss of life is obviously the most important focus.

Having said that, it really ticks me off that we were lied to for what can only be political/re-election reasons. I find that absolutely despicable.

Odd, but there’s so much talk about Bengazi on the Forum. I thought that abortion was a more important topic. 🤷

I think it’s a mixture. I think at first it was #2, he had no idea what was going on, he was busy campaigning. Attended security briefings 43% of the time. Was told by his handlers, 'don’t worry about it, we’ll let you know if something important happens, then we’ll tell you what to do."

My extremely liberal nephew-in-law just got back from that area less than a month ago. My sibs and kids go out on Friday nights. That Friday he said it was a planned attack because of the RPG’s.

Obama’s people did the lying for him. Hillary started the next day, spinning the “disgusting” film and giving the terrorists a civic lesson. LOL… Obama had to keep campaigning and practicing for the debates. He doesn’t have time for this… When his people got caught lying about it they had to come up with a plan. Instead of admitting it, the President went along with the whole, "we have to investigate it until we figure out what happened.

It took a while to get Hillary to step in and take the blame.

He’s still lying about what he knew when.

Shocking that conservatives should know anything about foreign policy, eh? We’re supposed to cling to our guns and religion and be narrow-minded little one issue voters. Not allowed to discuss anything else. 😛

Well, abortion is the SINGLE issue for Catholics (if you doubt it, ask Catholics on the Forum what else might be equally or more important). I agree, however, that all Conservatives are not Catholics and so are not bound by the Non-negotiables so they’re free to weigh other matters like Bengazi against abortion in connection with the coming election…

Abortion being the single most important non-negotiable for conservative Catholics does not preclude them from indulging in discussing other serious topics of the day. :tiphat:
