I can appreciate his desire to want to help the poor and down trodden, but at the same time his approach to abortion is unsettling.

I don’t think his actions or stances have anything at all to do with his supposed faith and has everything to do with his view of where the US should be in relation to other counties. So far I’ve seen little in his actions that point to any strong belief in any specific faith tradition.

  1. He called it a terrorist act on September 12, and then in order to avoid the blame for having a bad set of policies and denying these men security that they had requested, he lied about it on TV, at the UN and to the whole country for 2 weeks until people caught him red-handed, OR
  2. He used the term generally on September 12th, and had no idea what was going on for the whole 2 weeks, even though his own State Department knew. Which means he’s not talking to his own State Dept, or he doesn’t get any of this, or he just plain doesn’t care.
Take your pick. It doesn’t matter which one it really is. They’re all BAD.

And what’s really sickening is that he tried to make a play for sympathy during the last debate–FOR POINTS–by talking about being there with their coffins. Watch the video if you don’t believe me.

And then he goes on TV and says the death of Americans is um…not optimal. Not optimal??? :mad::mad::mad:

Obama is not optimal. He needs to be put out of office. Now.

IMO it’s 3

He knew it was a terrorist attack, but lied to the American people on purpose to further his agenda.
 
:banghead: I just made the mistake of watching a bit of the Obama interview on the Daily Show. Normally, I like the Daily Show, but this was just too much.

How can a President not know what their job entails and what powers they do and don’t have? Seriously, after 4 years, you’d think he would know that he has no authority, nor veto power to stop a Constitutional Amendment.

Actually, the HHS Mandate is the big issue for Catholics.

I will respond to your informative comment. What I meant by my own remark is that Romney had a tendency to make matters worse when he spoke (he’s somewhat better now), so I thought the best strategy might be to leave it to the voters since he’s already making progress in PA. I was being facetious.

I think Romney’s doing fine. I’m hoping that we’re going to win this thing in the next couple of weeks. We’ll see. It’s looking pretty good.

Obama’s campaign is angrily descending into trivia and that’s a sure-fire sign that they’re desperate. He doesn’t really have a record to run on, you know. So he can’t talk about that. He doesn’t really have any concrete plans for the next 4 years that he can talk about in public because they’re either absent or so outlandish and expensive it’s embarrassing. So he’s talking about binders, Big Bird and making irrational claims about birth control. It’s all he’s got.

PS, you don’t know how close I came to just giving you another line of these: :rotfl:

IF you’re worried about people saying stupid things, you better put a muzzle on Joe Biden.
 
Obama: “We have these things called aircraft carriers.” Sophomoric.
 
So far the Obama strategy of portraying Romney as a wild eyed warmonger has failed miserably.
