Converts to the Jewish faith are more special… Because. Those who are born Jewish have no choice. Those who convert do so. Knowing all the trouble and racism that comes with it beforehand. And yet still convert.

No disrespect to the Rabbi (or Judaism), but I always thought in the 21st century, Jewish Converts are like the most peculiar…converts…given with the information that’s out on Jesus for the last 2000 years. Seems like people who haven’t been told the good news, or are really, really, really late to the party. As an outsider, with no ethnic ties, you’re converting to Judaism?
So you join the Jewish faith, knowing you’re still going to be waiting for the FIRST COMING?? (if you’re a messianic Jew :rolleyes: )

Just strange and weird to me. But I guess as a Catholic it’s hard to wrap one’s head around.
