I accept the verdict,however I do believe jury’s can be wrong and in this I do not believe Trayvon received proper justice.

Good point, we all have a right to a jury of our peers, this was a jury of George Zimmerman’s peers, not Trayvon Martin’s as he of course, was not on trial. I do think a different make up of Jurors probably would have been deadlocked.

Okay, but what was her Hallelujah about?? I sympathize with the Martin family but personally, I enjoy seeing people who exploited this incident in my opinion for their own aims and agenda smacked down in a sense, I turned on MSNBC to see how they reacted and I don’t say this to be offensive to anyone.

Al Sharpton, Melissa Harris Perry, it’s difficult to find merit in what these types were doing, I’d add Nancy Grace to this. Maybe some of the magazine and left wing sites too like at least the Nation, I thought they were out of bounds.

Seeing how we have had a bit of a mob mentality and in some ways lynch-mob mentality, apparently Ann said “Hallelujah” to that.

I note one analyst, can’t find a source for this said this story is a bit like the one we all know, “To Kill a Mockingbird” and I see how one could for the sake of argument, make the case:

To Kill A Mockingbird, I believe that is where the young black man was wrongly accused of raping a woman. Here, we have a story were according to a number of authorities, George Zimmerman was wrongly accused of murder. Kind of interesting.

NBC doctored in most people’s eyes, those 911 tapes to make Zimmerman look racist, Al Sharpton, agitators were out in full force on this. I repeat myself, I think a lot of media people drove an agenda, I’m sorry for the Martin family but I personally enjoy seeing the “Carpetbaggers” get their comeuppance over the past 2 days.

As Broomwagon noted above, she gave her reason for rejoicing. Which was something that could have been easily researched BEFORE making an accusation.

Zimmerman was PRESUMED INNOCENT. It was up to the prosecution to first attempt to convict him of 2nd Degree Murder (a real fool’s errand) and when that failed they tried Manslaughter and finally tossed in “Child Abuse” as a Hail Mary pass. The judge DID allow consideration of manslaughter and clearly the jury considered this but their decision was there was not sufficient proof to meet the standard.

So he wasn’t found “guilty” of self defense, he was found not guilty of the charges brought.

here I disagree. I think there was enough evidence to prosecute and a trial was necessary for that reason alone. of course, the trial brought out the actual facts of the incident, so that was valuable. haters gotta hate though, but the facts take some of the lynchmob’s sting away.

Did anyone see O’mara and West on Hannity? They’ve made the rounds of the shows today. They were on the View earlier too. What was interesting is that they were asked what the most important piece of evidence that was left out of the trial was and they said the text messages that Martin made saying he knew he could win a fight by punching someone in the nose and that references to how to sit on top of someone to subdue them. The judge wouldn’t allow the information.

They also covered the knock knock joke and it was obvious that O’mara was not happy about it. West tried to explain his reasoning but they basically ran out of time to finish.

As a firearm owner, I would love to know an honest answer whether Z would have followed M if Z was not armed. If the answer is no, then Z should not have followed even while armed.

I don’t see why Zimmerman needed to kill him. He could have used non-lethal force or called for assistance.

If one wants to speak about the “Right”,

Without looking it up, I believe David Horowitz, FrontPageMag wanting to see Zimmerman prosecuted, Michael Savage seems to have stuck up for the Prosecution and Trayvon too.

Rick Santorum on the campaign trail last year said this, I think too, he may have said it to sidestep a volatile issue so in other words, being politically expedient but not sure if that is a bad thing for while Rick was campaigning:

Allen West is another politician who came out pretty strong in favor of Trayvon, I’m looking for an update of his comments:
