This election is going down in History and Eternity!!

I love election season… 👍

Has anyone started circulating the old “Due to expected high turnout voters for candidate A should vote on tuesday and voters for candidate B should vote on wed” flyers yet ? Its right about time for that too.

Just go to the polls on the first tuesday in november and vote no matter what. Its really that simple.

From ABC/Univision The FBI has launched an investigation in Florida after hearing that a number of people in the state received letters claiming they are ineligible to vote. The official-looking letters falsely tell people that their citizenship status is in question. While the letters appear to come from county supervisors in Florida, they are postmarked from the Seattle area.

“You must complete the attached Voter Eligibility Form and return it to the Supervisor of Elections Office within 15 days of receipt. Failure to submit this form within fifteen (15) days will result in the removal of your name from the voter registration rolls and you will no longer be eligible to vote. A non registered voter who casts a vote in the State of Florida may be subject to arrest, imprisonment, and/or other criminal sanctions,” says the letter.

It is signed from Jerry Holland, the Duval County supervisor of elections, but he did not send them.

“The letterhead has a flag and an eagle in the top left corner of the letter and appears to be from Jerry Holland Supervisor of Elections but is not,” reads a statement from the Deputy Supervisor of Elections.
Of course, everybody knows that all voter intimidation efforts come from Republicans. :banghead:

From the Palm Beach Post:
Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner said similar letters have been turning up around the state. Each falsely purports to be sent from the supervisor of elections in the voter’s home county.
The letter Diamond received was sent from Seattle, Wash. There was no address, Diamond said. Based on people he talked to he suspects Republican voters were targeted. His suspicions, however, could not be verified Monday.
“It contained some pretty strong language,” he said. According to the letter, he had 15 days to return a form, proving his citizenship. If he didn’t, it claimed, his name would be removed from the voter rolls and he would be ineligible to vote in the Nov. 6 presidential election.
So why would the Republicans, who are the only ones who engage in voter intimidation, target other Republicans?

It must be a diversion plot to conceal their real evil plot to steal the Florida election.
I don’t believe voter intimidation, or other forms of voter fraud are all that common.

I’d be inclined to suspect I.D. theft as a motive.

The “wrong” people are those who commit voter fraud, regardless of party.

The only thing funny is that republicans will usually call out their own they screw up instead of paging the media and pundits to circle the wagons.

One would think this would get more dems on board with voter ID, but I guess they still have much more to gain (or lose) from it and they are willing to let R minor slips go by in order to have the chance to fix close elections.
How does voter ID solve the vexing question of ballots deposited in a dumpster?

Gotta love Republicans. Propose a solution, get it enshrined in law if you can…then reveal the REAL totally-unrelated-to-the-solution problem! No once can accuse them of doing nothing.

All it does is make the election more accurate. I have to agree with your premise.
