Look, I’m not here defending those who come here illegally and come to kill, be in gangs, sell drugs, commit robberies, auto thefts and beat on their wives. I don’t defend those people. What I’m saying that as Americans we cannot get all emotional and say no we can’t have these illegals get citizenship, when we as nation are a nation of immigrants, Obama said it, Bush said it, Clinton said it, bush father said it, Reagan said it.

In what alternate reality does it make sense that someone who is immigrating legally gets punished by having to wait on a list for a decade and someone who is immigrating illegally gets rewarded with instant citizenship?

Of course we are a nation of immigrants. As I’ve already explained, immigration laws were federalized in the late 19th Century. There is no equivalency between today’s illegal immigrants and the original European settlers of the Americas. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Quit bringing up the “killing of human beings” red herring. Just because I recognize the reality of history, rather than making ridiculous comparisons, doesn’t mean I favor the killing of human beings.

If in the 10 years that their on probation prior to taking their citizenship test, they get 3 speeding tickets, or a DWI, or commit a serious crime like robbery, auto theft, domestic violence they get sent back to their home country.

But you do most of the people that are being affected, effected are Hispanics, that’s not a novelty, it shouldn’t come to you as a surprise.
