We rolled the tenderloin in flour and fried it fo about three minutes!!! My grandson called it deer nuggets!!! He loved it!

If we want to claim that people have rights, then we’re not in the business of telling people what they need or don’t need to be doing.
Sorry to say, but you’re reading way too much into this. I don’t think someone needs to eat a bag of Doritos a day, but I don’t care if they do.

🤷‍♂️
If you say so. Your initial words illustrated what appears to be your viewpoint: no one needs to hunt. (It’s pretty cool when we get to tell others what they need to do, huh? 🤔 )

Dude, I’m done here. When you start lecturing in a condescending way, I’m out.

Hey, I’m cool with it. You can tell us what you think of others’ motivations, but we can’t tell you what we think of yours. Whatev’s…

How is it that there are over a hundred replies here, and they are all about hunting?

Not a comment on the venom spewed? Has that become invisible to you? Does that not register any more we’re so saturated in it?

We have a lot bigger problem than a guy who went hunting. It feels like there was a tipping point, and it’s been tipped. This world needs a Godly intervention.

There have been comments on it. My comment was that the venom is mostly “fake” in order to cause chaos and division. So there is no need to overreact to it. How does that saying go?..don’t try to reason with barking dogs, or something like that.

Eh, people will spew venom over anything when they’re pushing an agenda. I’m weary of it, but it’s part of life.

We live in the middle of nowhere and we eat deer. We eat deer because it helps to control the deer population. We eat deer because it keeps deer from being hit by cars. That saves deer lives. That saves human lives. That saves people with low incomes from things like huge car repair bills and insurance hikes. We eat deer because it’s a family tradition. We eat deer because it’s probably important that someone has hunting skills to pass on to future generations. We eat deer because it keeps the blood of other animals like cows and chickens, who are living terrible lives that are pretty much the equivalent to a holocaust, off our hands. (I live in farm country… I see it.) Deer live lovely gentle peaceful natural lives. We thank them and honor them in special ways for the food they’ve provided our family.

But I’ll inform my spouse that we aren’t human… 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I’m mean… we’ll add it to the list… in this year alone we’ve learned that we’re also bigoted, moronic rednecked conspiracy theorists who don’t care about anything but ourselves. Ha! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I mean, we had no idea how horrible we were!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

For the record, when we eat cows we choose cows who had lovely gentle peaceful lives too.

And for the folks who say if you can afford the gear you can afford to buy meat… where can I buy free-range, grass fed meat in exchange for .20 cents and several hours in nature? Cause if you know how to borrow a shotgun and process the meat, that is what it costs. If we can get the same quality food from a store than we NEED that chain where I live!

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Also, the Blaze, like many other media outlets, exists to inform, anger and divide people. That may not be the mission statement… but that doesn’t mean it’s not the mission.

First, if it not just rural but also city people also like to hunt and fish. No this is about real people with real lives who hunt with shotguns and feed their families.

It is about hated for hunters and fisherman. for the last 40 years.

Liberals on this thread have shown their hated by their posts.

“People kill for th sake of killing”.

And when anyone here puts a piece of meat/fish in their mouth , they did not kill.

Sometimes, I listen to him and Michael Knowles.
Ted Cruz’s wife is a vegetarian, just want to point that out.
As am I.
The people complaining are EXACTLY why vegetarians are stereotyped the way they are.
If you don’t want people to stereotype you.
DON’T BE A STEREOTYPE.
And God bless the people donating the meat to the poor.

Hunting isn’t my thing.

But if folks obey the laws and eat the meat it’s all good.

Oh, and I’m pretty left leaning.

I didn’t say it was just rural people who like to hunt and fish. I said I was rural and I like to hunt and fish.

And yes, there is hate there. And there is plenty of hate to go around from all sides of the political spectrum on most topics. Usually I find the most hateful are people who are looking at issues from only one perspective, their own.

This isn’t the 19th century where a deer has to provide a family with food for the winter. Odds are if they can afford ammunition they can afford food.
And that means what? That the only people who should be hunting are those who can"t afford to? That we should abandon our responsibility to ensure that the herd count is maintained at a healthy level?

If a drought-parched plant lets out a scream, but it’s at a frequency too high to hear, does it count as a cry of distress? According to a study posted on the preprint server bioRxiv last week, the answer could very well be yes. (And we’re not talking about folklorish mandrakes.)
