They get this false stuff put in their mind partly because they do not read/view good trustworthy news sources like Breitbart, Tucker on Fox, LifeSiteNews, The Federalist, and Conservative Review enough.)

Was this intended as satire?
I am absolutely serious.

100 % correct. We do not allow physicians alone with our kids either. We get a little push back sometimes, but we are the parents and we have the right to be there, IMO.

It doesn’t seem concerning to you that he wants to indoctrinate the students in some form?
No. That is not what the story says. And it is not disconcerting because a lot of teachers may have bias, left and right, and discuss those biases on public media. Don’t many here do the same thing?
If one teacher is thinking this way, perhaps other teachers are as well?
It is still one teacher. Sure, it is probable there are more. But if what he did was sinister, the CAF is full of equally sinister people who have a bias that sometimes comes through their discussion.

The right does not have to hide their teachings from the parents.

Giving children “sex-talk” which is what the left does, will NEED to continue to try to fool the parents.

This is not a two-way street.

Speaking for myself, I am not concerned about teachers interior biases.

I am very concerned when they are attempting to indoctrinate the children and hide it from the parents (which SHOULD suggest to you even the teacher KNOWS they are purposefully “evangelizing” the children into illicit sex and sex-talk). Which is just what this guy expressed concern over the parents finding out about.

I am surprised anyone supports this obvious form of abuse against children.

I do not believe you objective enough to know. You demonize other political perspectives and hold your own up as some sort of moral banner. You deny the very moral equality demanded by Jesus who taught that we ought to treat others as we want treated.

I would say any teacher has reason to be concerned because regardless of what is taught, or how it is taught, there is always a possibility that one will encounter an agenda-driven, angry parent, blinded by whatever Kool-Aid that is their sole media diet, be it Breitbart or Huffington in flavor.

OK. Forget about me, and just condemn teachers trying to secretly give sex-talk to children.

That seems easy enough.

This is just a personal attack. I will otherwise ignore it.
(Jesus does not demand “moral equality” with moral vrs. immoral positions. “What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?” 2nd Corinthians 6:15a)

Forget about Breitbart. Just go in and ask to see the “health class” books (ALL of them) that they use for the children.

See for yourself.

Forget about demonizing Breitbart long enough to take the time to check on these things directly on behalf of your own daughters and sons.

Watch some of the video school lessons your kids are seeing. Especially psych, soc, health, basic science, etc. Read the literature your children are assigned.

This is easy enough.

See for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

You would expect that chart to be coming from David Duke or Richard Spencer instead of unironically coming from an organization that is supposed to be working on behalf of American blacks.

Yes, if this is being done without parental approval, that could be a problem. However, most schools have an opt in or out on this sort of class.

Again, we are speaking of one teacher who is concerned about both conservative parents and “the left”, indicating it is not the agenda that concerns him, but the effectiveness of his instruction with parents. He is not even trying to voice an opinion, as much as a concern, and a legitimate one, that can affect any subject. This guy is an English teacher.

There is a lot to be worried about public schools. I just do not see this guy as representing any sort of danger based on these messages.

I don’t understand - are we teaching students here on CAF?
We’re talking about this teacher who has a captive audience. Sure many of us have opinions and biases but we’re not teachers complaining that parents might find out what we’re teaching their children.
Your response is a bit of a head-scratchter.

Was he teaching on Twitter? No. He was expressing a concern he had on social media. We have no idea what he teaches or has taught, or even if his concern was a general one, or one that he was going to deal with. He teaches English.

He tweeted about his teaching. That was the content of the tweet - his fear that parents would be observing what he is teaching.
What do you think his tweet was about?

This type of response is based on mere visceral feelings.

(They get this false stuff put in their mind partly because they do not read/view good trustworthy news sources like Breitbart, Tucker on Fox, LifeSiteNews, The Federalist, and Conservative Review enough.)

Yet everyone here knows this kind of DENIAL is false (but you assert it anyway Nepperhan).
You cite partisan news sources which are not credible.

" President Donald Trump’s “swamp” is particularly rich in fossil fuels.

Oil, gas and coal interests together poured millions of dollars into Trump’s inaugural fund and re-energized their federal government lobbying efforts during the year’s first three months, according to a Center for Public Integrity analysis of federal disclosures.

It’s a two-pronged strategy that’s apparently paying dividends: The new administration has spent its early days ticking items off the industry wish list.

In all, oil, gas and coal companies and executives contributed more than $1 out of every $10 raised for Trump’s inauguration, for which he raised nearly $107 million overall. That’s significantly more than the $1 the sector contributed for every $34 President Barack Obama raised overall for his second inauguration, per an analysis from the Center for Responsive Politics.

Meanwhile, the oil and gas industry spent $36.1 million on federal lobbying efforts from Jan. 1 through March 31. That’s an 11 percent increase over the same period last year, Center for Responsive Politics data shows."

" Both President Trump and members of the Utah delegation, particularly Rep. Bishop, have benefited from oil, gas, and coal industry contributions. Trump’s presidential campaign received more than $1.1 million from the fossil fuel industry. And coal, oil, and gas interests contributed $1 out of every $10 raised—a total of at least $10 million—for Trump’s inaugural celebrations. These events were not subject to the same campaign finance restrictions as donations made during the election."

Those are BIG polluters.

Yeah @cathoholic, quit citing such unreliable partisan sources! Use something neutral like the Center for American Progress! 😂

He tweeted about his teaching.
No, he did not. As an English teacher perhaps he was assuming all that read this on Twitter could competently read English, not anticipating his writing would have a wider audience. He used a singular pronoun was in addressing his own “wheelhouse” being race. He used a singular pronoun when he was speaking of his opinion. The rest of the time it was plural.

He was concerned that those on the left watching on-line classes could be damaging.

Frankly I think flashers flashing children is problematic if a parent approves or not.

Some parents “approve” of the darnest things (see below for an example).

This includes rhetorically “educationally” doing this sex-talk routine against children too.

I think it is child abuse for Mr. Smith, to call up Suzy in a 10th grade classroom setting to put a you-know-what on a banana while the other children look on.
However, most schools have an opt in or out on this sort of class.
Parents. Ask yourself how many notes you have gotten from lit class teachers. Or little kids having read to them “King and King” in class without a note.

Check out how many health-class forms, psych class firms, soc. class forms you have gotten in the past year and see fir yourself.
Again, we are speaking of one teacher . . .
If you think that, you are missing the bigger picture.
This story has to do with one teacher, but representative as a cultural barometer.

If you REALLY think this is a one-time deal, watch your kids classes with him or her now.

I could post many stories that the mainstream media ignores in an attempt to fool you and me, but people would just deflect and say “It is from LifeSiteNews”.

To other parents who really want to know if this cultural slide could really be going on to this degree right now, check this out.

(And if you think it is normal, no amount of LifeSiteNews articles I could post from parents with horror stories will matter. If you are shocked, you won’t need some stories/accounts of other classroom shenanigans by other parents from sources like LifeSiteNews. Listen to the raucous clapping and cheering by leftists in the audience too.)

The left (including sadly his own parents) exploited “Desmond” (who was also autistic) for childhood teases for homosexually themed sex shows too.
The Daily Wire

11-Year-Old Boy Dressed In Drag Dances At Gay Bar, Gets Dollar Bills Thrown…

On December 1, an 11-year-old boy dressed in drag danced on stage in a sexual manner at a gay bar in Brooklyn, NY, called 3 Dollar Bill. The child, Desmond Napoles, was dressed as a Gwen Stefani-lookalike — full drag make up, a blonde wig, and crop…
These are unacceptable abuses of children in my opinion.

Ask yourself if this pervasive desensitization is NOT going on in society (including in schools),
how did we as a society come to this monstrous behavior
of destroying our own children literally and figuratively?

Yes we do at least have an idea. He teaches things that he is worried parents will be upset about.

And you look at his concerns, and it centers around parents finding out he is
giving the kids sex-talk and evangelizing them into sexual deviancy.

We have a very good “idea”.
