Please Pray for my Husband

Please pray for my husband today. He was feeling really depressed when I talked to him last night. He is having a hard time accepting that I have forgiven him and still love him, he says that he doesn’t think he’s worth it. I am praying very hard that God will continue to be with him. He said that he is very sorry for putting me through all of this and doesn’t know what he should do. I told him that I will always be here for him and that God will not abandon him. He appreciates my praying for me and said when he gets his extended time off he will go in and get help. I keep hoping and praying that through all of this our marriage will stay together, our love for each other is still strong.

Heavenly Father, please give healing to Cassie’s husband and their marriage. Please hear the prayers of her heart for them. both. I ask You this in Jesus’ name
 
Cassie, take heart. His expressed feelings of unworthiness are a symptom of his coming to terms with the concept of forgiveness and God’s love. Clearly, the Lord is working in him. We continue to pray.

Hello Everyone,

Just an update on my situation. John and I talk everyday, sometimes twice a day. He has not commited one way or the other on divorce, but he has told me that he may be looking at a job a whole lot closer to home. I will not get my hopes up too high, but I take it as a good sign. He continues to tell me that he loves me and asks if I need anything. My knees should be sore because of all of the praying I have done, but I will continue to do so. I know that the one good thing that has come out of this is that I have become closer to God and I believe that John is starting to feel the effects. I continue to keep the faith and hope that this marriage will heal. God continues to make me a stronger person and has shown me the things that I need to change in my life. I will continue to pray for all CAF intentions everyday. God Bless All!:angel1:

Cassie, I’m glad you’ve come closer to God.
I pray for your marriage, and also for those who have asked our prayers for their marriages but otherwise remain very quiet and their posted requests seem to have been forgotten, but like yours, are still remembered in our prayers.

I talked to my husband last night and he told me that he is having a hard time forgiving himself. He was listening to the radio and there was a program on about husbands who cheated on their wives. He said that most of the callers said that the husbands were scum and didn’t deserve another chance. He said that I should hate him and that he doesn’t deserve another chance with me. I have forgiven him and God knows this. I told him that if he asks God, God will forgive him too. He was very distraught over what he has put me through. I told him that I haven’t been the perfect wife either, but with God’s help I am trying to be a godly wife and have changed for the better. I told him that maybe he should find a church to go to on Sunday, if he wasn’t working. He said that he wouldn’t be welcome there, I told him he would. I am concerned about his state of mind and am fasting today in hopes that God will continue to work in John. I pray that He will keep him safe and that time will heal the wounds. I am not giving up on John or our marriage. I will continue to pray and try to be positive rather than negative. I know that everybody here has been praying for us and I will continue to pray for all intentions here. God Bless.

Your positive, faith filled attitude is so inspirational; it echoes my daughter who just reconciled with her husband (they had different issues).
You and John will be in my prayers for your continued strength and healing.

My husband has asked me to make an appointment for him to see a specialist about his depression. He says it is not normal for him to have the feelings that he has and struggles everyday to not let the bad feelings overwhelm him. I have requested an appointment with one of the top clinics in our state, they will contact us with more information as to when and who he will see. I am praying that this will help my husband and help our marriage. I thank all of you for your continued prayers, it means all the world to me and I am humbled by it. God Bless All of You!
 
Look back and see how he has progressed from standing far away from you, to now standing at your door and asking or help. This is the work of our precious Lord, slowly changing your husband’s heart. Praise to the Glorious Name of the Lord. Our prayers continue for a blessed reuniting in the love of Christ. Amen! Alleluia!
