CNN is now saying 50 dead and 53 injured.

Please pray for all and their families and friends.
 
Not sure if I heard it correctly, but in the police press conference I think I heard 50 dead. Anyone else hear this?
 
It was definitely an attack on LGBT people predominantly. The killer is a US citizen (muslim).

Something has to be done in regards to guns. Theirs no need for someone to carry a big assault gun in the city. Camping different story.

People will get offended and scream oh 2nd amendment but a stop has to be put.

Not to veer this thread out of course, but idk if you remember in the 90s in California, were some gentlemen went on a robbing spree. These gentlemen had some big guns (ak 47s I believe) and vests.

I wonder if vests are outlawed no matter what?
 
The problem is terrorism, not Islam.

Prayers for the dead and for their families.
 
Praying for the repose of the souls of those who died. Praying for the health & recovery of the injured. Praying fod the families of both.
 
The shooter’s father allegedly said that the shooter recently saw two men kiss and got riled up and did the shooting.

While it may not be true, we must acknowledge that this was an attack on the LGBT community (which is a problem, especially since there are extremists) and condemn it. Instead of acting like it was not a hate crime and just an attack against America in general (bc that implies that you are denying the fact that these people are still being attacked by others, and we shouldn’t. Even if we don’t agree with their views, nobody should be discriminated and killed and we need to protect the dignity of human life)

We are called to love and show mercy to people, now is the time to do that

Specifically, the problem is ISLAMIST terrorism. The islamists do not encompass all of Islam, but they do comprise a non-trivial proportion.

Radical Islam thinks something ought to be done about gays. Doesn’t have anything to do with anything but radical islamic jihad.

Maybe if there was better security at the nightclub door there wouldn’t be an issue. Obama “armed” radical terrorists, so its should be no surprise radicals used the guns.

Aside from Fast and Furious and the CIA and Benghazi its clear Obama and Hillary have armed everyone and contend to disarm assimilated citizens. Clintons view on the second amendment came forward last week. Oddly Clinton last week refused to state the 2nd amendment protects the individuals right to keep and bear arms.

But as I said with apparent radical Islamic terrorism its absurd to sway a conversation as Obama usually does to guns and hate crimes against Islam. Its counterproductive and has been for 8 years.

Fine, I will admit the problem is primarily ISLAMIST terrorism. Will you admit this particular attack was primarily against GAY Americans?

On whose watch did 9/11 occur: Obama’s or GWB’s? Who was the President who invaded Iraq: Obama or GWB? According to your reasoning, did Bush also “fundamentally assist in bringing about the current state of death and destruction” and should Bush, who made a point of not blaming the religion of Islam for the 9/11 attack, also “have been impeached for aiding the enemy of the United States”?
