I am asking for prayer for my husband.

He received a message to come into work tomorrow morning and talk to two administrators.
No idea what it is about,but the message had an odd tone and an ominous feeling. The message was sent at 6 pm and no one was answering phones in the office when he tried to call and as what it was about.
His Union and the Company are in a protracted Bargaining process(over 3 years) and it has become a terribly, hostile environment.

He can’t think of anything he might have done and the whole thing might be nothing, but it is preying on his mind terribly. This is an awful time to be looking for work in his profession.

Please pray that it is nothing negative and that all goes well tomorrow. He is really worried and is in great need of Peace.

Thank you all so much.

My husband went into the meeting this morning and they were looking to hang some one.

It just wasn’t him. They had the wrong guy!!
I can’t believe no one even checked a file.
They were telling him, you should be doing this and this and this since you have been doing this related* job* before coming into this position…
He has never held that* job* with this company. They were utterly confused and both looked at each other and said " I thought you said he came from…no I thought you said…"

They didn’t even know who they were talking to! Once they were clear on what job position he actually holds. There wasn’t even anything to talk about.

Husband is thinking this just may be one sign among several lately that is time to move on.

Our Deacon has asked for prayers for himself and a man
condemed to die by lethal injection on Wednesday
Morning 12:01 AM 5-25-05. Our Deacon will be with him
and is speaking today on his behalf before the clemency
board.

3c’s, I will continue to pray for your husband. I too think it is time to move on! May St Joseph help him to find fruitful employment. I will also pray for the person the really wanted to hang. This company sounds like a really rotten place to work.Magdalene27, I will pray for the comdemed man.
 
As we approach Armed Forces day and Memorial day please pray for all our troops in Iraq

Compactdiss, I emphathize with you. I’ve lost 3 jobs in the last few years, and it’s painful even if not your fault. I’m praying that you will find the job that God has for you. He always comes through even though His timing is not always the same as ours.
He always provides for us.

I need to add more requests.

I need prayers for Joyce who is still angry at the church due to scandal, that she find it in her heart to come back to church.

I need prayers for my Father in Law who is going in for open heart surgery. Along with him I ask prayers for my wife and mother in law and all family members associated.

I am once again going to ask for prayers for myself and my family. I am in serious debt. I do not ask for prayers for the money but that somehow I am provided with ways to pay these bills. I am looking at years of paying back bills. I am asking for God’s help in managing the monthly bills plus the past debts that are in the thousands of dollars.

I would ask if my friend, which filed for a divorce 2 months ago, and myself are prayed for. She needs to find herself spiritually and emotionally. I am trying to be there for her as much as possible, and I know I need strength and patience. To add to this, we both like each other, but she does not want a relationship because of where she is emotionally, which I can not blame her. But it seems we are good friends to each other, but we are almost fighting off the feelings we have for each other. There is no doubt in my mind that the feelings she has for me is not “rebound” feelings, but genuine ones. She has been seperated since November, and has seen a few different men before me. My heart hurts because of me trying to fight off what love I have for her, so I don’t get involved too much to jeopardize the future of our friendship, and it is eating me alive. Please pray for safe travel for my husband and 11-year-old daughter. They have a 22 hour drive that has just begun. I worry so when my family is away. I will keep the people on this thread in my prayers as well.
 
My father had a heart attack three days ago. He will have quadruple-bypass surgery tomorrow.

I pray for his recovery and return to health. The older I get, the more I appreciate him.
 
Please say a prayer for two of my friends. One is agnostic, and the other is a “fallen-away” Christian/agnostic. Please pray for their conversion to life in Christ.
 
I’ll be glad to say a daily prayer ofr all the intentions and need expressed on this forum.

Please pray for my son JP and his wife who are going through a difficult time in their marriage.

May the Lord send His light an love for these young people who are trying to find a way out in the problem they are having now.
 
I just found out that my aunt passed away last week from a heart attack. Her name was Danona. Years ago, in the mid 80s, she studied with the JWs and tried to tell my mom about it. Later, when Mom became a JW, she tried to tell my aunt about it, and my aunt rejected what she had to say. My aunt has led a very troubled life, and she has left behind an 11 year old son, Nicholas. Nicholas’ father has many health problems, and won’t likely even live until Nicholas turns 18. Sadly, Nicholas is the one who found her. She also left behind a 19 year old daughter, Angela, and a 30 year old daughter, Shannon. Shannon doesn’t yet know that her mother has passed away, since no one knows how to contact her.

Please remember my aunt in your prayers, as well as her children and grandchildren who have been left behind.
 
Please pray for my wife Janet. She is not catholic. (She is christian.) We are going through getting our wedding blessed by the church. It is very hard on her. She has even considered stopping this process. She does not understand why we have to go through this process. Please pray that we can finish this process and that she will find the beauty of God in the catholic church. I am not asking to pray for her conversion at this point, only that she can recognizes God at work in the church, and the beauty and love of God in the church.

Would you please remember to say a little prayer for a young lady of 15 years named Melissa who has just been diagnosed with leukimia and for her family and friends.

The most recent requests and past are in my prayers.

Please pray for me. I was recently terminated from my job. I began a retail job today to bring in some money for my family and to keep busy. I wish to get back into the field I have been in since 1998 which is Biotech. More importantly I wish to get back into the field so I can afford to go back to college to help change my career into one of service. I wish in my heart to be a drug and alcohol counselor. I am back to sobriety myself but I know if God wills it my hopes will come true. This is a dream I have had consistently for years but never pursued because I was more concerned with money, now that I am back to my faith I understand my life should not be about money but about helping those in need.

I also ask for continued prayers for my wife and her family, her father goes into open heart surgery on June 14th. Please pray for God’s will and for them to be strong through this rough period.

My prayer request is for one of my patients. He has ALS, is on a vent (and has been for quite some time) He has not been sleeping well at night for the last several months, at least. Please pray that he gets some rest or that we find something that will help him to rest well at night. Thank you.

All the above posts are in my prayers. Just wish we had some updates…
