Please pray I get the job that I interviewed for today. I really need a job I have been temping since February. I hard scramble in the best of times but with refugees from Katrina those jobs will all be taken. I know this is selfish but my dream job is coming up. I know if offered I will take it. I know that is selfish. I guess I should not ask for prayers for the job but prayers that I won’t be selfish. Please pray for me

Well, he did not go to sleep before midnight, but he stayed up all night! Thanks for the prayers. The test was done and so far, the results look good.

I have just read the past two weeks of requests and added all of your heartfelt requests to my prayer list. I would like to say a thank you prayer. I have been praying for an aunt who is struggling in rehab. She is impoving and for that I am very grateful. Please continue to pray for her. She is a dear soul and she loves life. She wants to improve enough to go home to her apt. We want if very badly for her too. Thank you in advance. All of you prayer warriors are wonderful.

Tomorrow I am going to contact the parish I go to about whether or not I can get in on RCIA, or if they’ve already started it, etc. I get really nervous talking on the phone, and this doesn’t help (I’m getting nervous just thinking about it!). Please pray I don’t lose my nerve and that I can actually talk somewhat normally on the phone.

**Kindly keep Jeff in your prayers…Jeff is around 22 years of age…he accidentally fell out of a jeep on Sunday evening after his friend made a sharp turn while going around a corner. Jeff is in serious condition due to brain swelling and your prayers for him **and the Martin family will be much appreciated.

Did you call mylo? (And, still praying for your dh Marie).
Would like to ask continued prayers for my family, my husband’s and mine are very large extended families, currently we have, two with alzheimer’s, two aunt’s in the hospital, one sister-in-law’s Father just died, our daughter has a complicated pregnancy, and one of my sister’s and neices are suffering with different handicap’s. Thank you all.
 
First, my continued prayers for this thread, especially those affected by the hurricanes, and the search for employment.

I do want to thank those who prayed for me, I called (super nervous, lol) and I now have an appointment with Fr. L on Monday for the interview into RCIA. I have the paperwork filled out, and am eager to get going. 🙂 If all goes well, come Easter I will be Home. :dancing:

I have a brother in law that has a very important interview on Monday and Tuesday. He needs this job very much for reasons I won’t go into here, but mainly for spritual reasons. I pray that he gets the new beginning that he has worked so hard for in every way. Thanks for any prayers you can add on.

For my husband’s Uncle Bill. He is in his last day’s and in hospice. The end is very near.
 
For my friend and her family, as her father is recovering from surgery. May the Lord’s healing embrace strengthen them and comfort them.

I am a new member today! I am asking for your help in praying for my lost cat’s safe return home to me. Baba, my one year old grey tabby has been missing for 5 days now. I am just heartbroken. I am 38 years old and a first time pet owner. Thank you so much!

I pray for all who post here, but this touched my heart, as I too have a beloved cat whose wellbeing I pray for every day.

St Gertrude of Nivelles, patron saint of cats & those who love them, pray for Baba’s safe return, & for kimbrown’s peace of heart. Amen.
 
Please pray for me: I work part-time evenings two evenings a week but feel called to a change, in part because my wages are very low for the work involved and the fact that I must leave my family at those times.

Please pray that I find the courage to leave (Michigan’s economy is really rocky right now) and the patience and the insight to see God’s will for me (I thought He was leading me to a different job but circumstances have changed that the opportunity now suddenly seems very remote.) I am tired, frustrated, discouraged, scared and need all the prayer I can get.

I always check the prayer line before going to Mass and remember all of you at Mass. Please pray for our Pastor. September 8 was his seventy-fifth birthday and he was required by canon law to turn in his resignation which the bishop can accept of reject. Thankfully the bishop rejected this mandatory resignation. Our pastor can do things men a third his age find difficult. He has been know to get up in the middle of the night to assist the dying ( not just members of the parish) He is always there for his people. Please pray that God allows him many more years as pastor.
 
Please pray for my friend. She has cancer. I just received a call that she is declining and probably does not have much longer to live. Please also pray for her family, in particular her husband, brother, and especially her 16 year old daughter who have seen her through this illness for the past few years. Thank you and God Bless.
 
Please pray for my husband in his attempt to secure a job with our diocese (his dream & mine)
