Please pray for my cousin Glenn. (he’s actually my second cousin, my dad’s first cousin). He has been battling cancer and has been admitted to hospice the other day and is not expected to live more than a few days. He’s 87 and has lived a very full life. He converted to Catholicism when he was in college. (He’s one of the few family members that knows I’m taking RCIA. He seemed happy about that.)

Thanks.

For myself. Have copd; on oxygen, nebulizer ; less than half of my lungs left. Doc says I have but a year to live upon this good earth. The year was up this past June. I pray & hope I may be able to live one more year, so that I may grow into a much deeper relationship with our Lord & God. Please pray to grant me this one year wish. Thank you all.

I have begun a special Novena in honor of St. Joseph for you. My St. Joseph intercede for you, that God grant you the deep relationship you wish. Sometimes these things occur very fast, sometimes instantaneously

Nine months or so ago, four people I work with (including myself) discovered that they or their spouse was going to have a baby. The first woman was in her mid to late thirties (a difficult time to have a baby), and managed to have a healthy boy at the beginning of August. The second couple had their baby in the middle of August. My wife and I after a difficult time concieving and later a very difficult pregnancy, managed to have our baby at the end of August. Finally, the last couple was due to have their baby this week.

After a realatively easy pregnancy (as easy as such a thing can be), they went to the hospital last night, and were due to be induced this morning. Unfortunately, that child, their second, and the one pregnancy that seemed to have everything going for it, did not make it.

As can be imagined, they are devestated. They will also be having a funeral in the upcomming days. As much as my wife and I love this couple, I do not think it would be appropriate for us to go, as I cannot imagine how difficult it would be for them to see a healthy newborn or even a couple they know that had one. So I will do the only thing I can for them: pray that God bless them and keep them in their time of grief.

So I ask that those who read this also pray for my friends in their time of grief.

Jeff passed away and his family thank you all very much for your prayers.

God Bless You,
Shalom,

Catherine

For my husband. He is having a painful time with his chest and shoulder. I pray the cancer has not spread. He just finished his radiation 3 week ago.

Please pray for the family of a Catholic convert whose husband talks about God only in the most dreadful, hateful terms, in front of their sons.

I know this is a selfish request when so many are are refugees but please pray that I get the job I am interviewing for today. I recieved a rejection from my dream job. This one is second runner-up. Please pray that I can deal with the rejection if it is not the Will of God that I get this job.

Not a bit of it! God has enough ears to hear us all, and loves us all. Nothing selfish about it. Besides, If you get the job, you will be in a better position to assist.

I will pray for a successful interview.

I heard last night that a job I was pretty much counting on may not materialize due to problems with contract negotiations. Please pray that the company I hope to work for gets enough work to hire me.

Thank you for your prayers. I got nervous in the interview and failed. I have three more interviews next week none of them great jobs but I will take them. I will pray for your success. I have been praying for St. Joseph’s Here is the prayer I have been saying several friends who have been seeking work, have said this prayer and St. Joseph has interceded on their behalf and they have found work.
St Joseph, example for all those who work to support themselves and their families obtain for me the grace to labor with thankfulness and joy. Grant that I may consider my daily endeavors as opportunities to use and develop the gifts of nature and grace I have received from God, In the workplace may I mirror your virtues of integrity, moderation, patience, and inner peace, treating my co-workers with kindness and respect. May all I do and say lead others to the Lord and bring honor to God’s Name.
Amen

Please pray for my son to stay on God’s path, for direction in school-a seemingly hopeless situation presently, and to use his gifts and talents only to glorify God. Our Lady surround him; Gabriel, the arch angel-use your strong presence to guide him, Padre Pio come to his aid and direction. Give him a heart for you oh Lord.

Thanks and praying for all. Heart is not a problem. The cancer was on this side and spread to his jugler and chest. He opted not to have more extensive treatment, and it looks like, as predicted, the cancer has spread. 😦

Please pray for some Navy helicopter pilots from my daughter’s squadron that have crashed in a training exercise yesterday off the coast of NC. They have not been recovered but only some debris has been spotted. Pray for their souls and for their families that will be getting the calls now.

Marie, I am praying for your husband and for your whole family.

Therese Martin:
Post your prayer requests in this thread, please. That way fellow forum participants will be able to find all of the various needs in one convenient location. Thanks! 🙂

"For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy."
–St. Therese of Lisieux

May I ask your prayers for healing and to understand God’s way as I go through cat scans and biopsies beginning tomorrow.
May the Lord bless each of you.

Thanks Marie. Right now I’m pretty frightened, and spiritually clinging to the hem of Jesus’ garment. Knowing that another is praying with me about this gives me a little peace.
God Bless you!

Prayers added for both of you. I’m also waiting on my 3 month scan results. I’ve done this for 2 years and have been comforted when needed. Trust Our Lord will comfort and don’t fear. In Christ, Tim
