Praying…Divine Mercy.
 
Before I go to Mass I check the prayer thread and offer my mass for all those on the thread. I also check it every night. My prayers at Mass will be for all on this thread
 
I ask for prayers for a gentleman I met at the Dr.s the other day. His name is Gary. He showed incredible strength and compossure as he told me that he has stage 4 lung cancer and was getting ready to do another bout of chemo. I had just received my scan results as stable, with no change for a year and a half, but he had compassion on me because of my wife and kids, yet said he didnt have any kids, so it would be alright. I was dumfounded. We both agreed that cancer treatment is worth it, if it, somehow, brings one more to Gods fold. I’ve thought about him alot this weekend and hope he succeeds in Christ, Tim

I hate to interupt the celebrating, but I’d like to ask for some prayers for my son, A. He’s 18, and Saturday night he was carjacked and beaten repeatedly with a metal baseball bat. Many of the blows were to the back of his head. There were two guys that attacked him. After beating him, they threw him in the trunk and drove away. As soon as the car started moving, A. pulled the inside trunk release and jumped from the moving car.

We spent all night Saturday at the trauma unit with him while they took numerous x-rays and a cat scan. Although he was completely covered in blood, but sustained no broken bones or skull fractures. Please pray for healing, not just physical, but emotional as well. I had to change all the locks on our house yesterday, as the guys that did this got the car, his wallet, keys, and cell phone.

Please pray for my sister - who is also my best friend. I just do not know what I would do without her. I am feeling in a panic.

She had another miscarriage 2 months ago. She went to a specialist today to find out why she is miscarrying and when he began to check things out he told her she needed to get to a hospital. Evidently there was some debris left over from this last m/c and she is full of infection in her reproductive organs. On top of that she was involved in an accident last weekend and was injured badly. Contusions on her face, abdomen, and both legs. At the time no fractures or breaks were found underneath all the swelling. Now they think she not only has a fracture in the leg but “thrombosis” something blood clots that are very dangerous in her leg from the impact.

I feel so terrified for her from the combination of these two things. She is only 27 has a dear husband and two precious girls ages 5 and 2 1/2. Right now we got a call that her and her husband were at the hospital getting admitted again. We are supposed to get an update here shortly I hope.

So any prayers for her safety, healing, and protection during this time would be so appreciated.

Please pray for my husband who was deployed this week for Iraq.
Please also pray for our children, ages 8, 5, and 6 months, as they deal with the deployment of their dad.

As a mother whose son served a year in Iraq. And as a daughter whose father miraculously returned safely from WWII. I say prayers for those still in harms way. I will remember your husband especially and your 6 month old baby, I know how hard it is to be without a father when one is so young. I never knew my father until I was nearly 5 years old.
 
Still praying for this thread. I’ve found that even when I feel far from God, praying for the intentions in this thread keeps me from ceasing prayer entirely.

I’m in need of some prayers: I have three exams in 2 days, starting tomorrow, and have been dealing with a bout of depression. I see my doctor tomorrow between 2 of my exams (it may be a side effect of drugs, or not), and I’m starting to get anxious about the exams and the doctor visit.

For added fun, my first RCIA class is Thursday. I’m not sure what to expect, and I sometimes wonder if This Is What I Want To Do … it is, but the doubts are coming in. 😦

Thank you for the prayers you can spare.
 
please for a firend Amy that is “over due” and will be induced on 10/11 if she doesn’t go into labor. she want very much to have a natural birth.

I subscribe to the thread, but I also come here, to read your requests & to pray.

Please pray for my dad who is going through a difficult time and feels betrayed by his closest friends. He will meet with these “friends” tonight.

I second all that and will pray for your exams too, (be sure to study too.)
I went to Mass today (Feast day of our Lady of the Rosary)and prayed for everyone who post here. :blessyou:
 
By the way, it was also First Friday, 👍
Sacred Heart of Jesus!! wonderful Mass, wonderful day! God is so good. (I even got to go to Confession before Mass). 👍
