For Michael… a young boy who is 8 years old and who was having really bad headaches. They found a ‘mass’ in his head but it has yet been undiagnosed. He is at “Sick Kids” in Toronto.
 
For my mother, hospitalized with bleeding from her stomach - aged 93 - and unable to swallow.

I will pray for all those on this thread. I ask you to pray for my daughter she is not accepting my precarious employment situation as well as I am. I am also going to ask you to pray that I continue to accept rejection well. I have been praying that I accept rejection well but I think that is having a negative effect on my interviews So I am going to leave that up to you. I will pray that I find the perfect position.

They are looking for an Adnimistrative Assistant - Secretary and I just applied online.

To work in the Diocese is beyond my wildest dreams!
To have my brother a priest in the Diocese and me working in the Chancery would be rather cool!

Pray for all the right doors to be opened for me on this one!
However it is God’s Will whether I obtain this opening and position!

Please pray for the neighboring family and the soul of their young son. This evening their little boy was struck and killed during the high school homecoming parade. Please pray for the person who was driving the car and all that were involved. Please pray for the bystanders that saw the event.

Living in an Army life, we prepare for the possiblities of our spouses departing from us, but never our strength - our children.

May we all hug our children a little tighter tonight.

Thank you so much for the selfless act of praying for my father, a man you do not know. I truly believe that we have helped him through our prayers.

We all suffered. Dad is a true gentleman. I just learned that the lies that were told about him are beginning to unravel without Dad having to say a word! Unlikely circumstances have led to revelations about his outstanding character and to the poor character of those who turned against him. It is glorious to see. Moreover, Dad is discovering TRUE friendship in unexpected places in spite of the cruelty he has suffered. Amazing things have happened recently and I thank Our Lord, The Blessed Virgin, St. Anne, and I thank all of you. Many blessings to you.

You are in my prayers too, now more than ever. I hope you can share good news soon as well.
 
I am a home care nurse, taking care of a baby with medical needs in a foster home. The baby is supposed to go home on Friday, to a situation that no one is happy about. There really hasn’t been much change in either parent, except they no longer live together and mom is in rehab(again) Mom has shown up to maybe 10% of this child’s doctor visits in the 7 months this baby has been in foster care. Dad has claimed that I have blamed mom for problems with the baby(which is not true and there was a witness to that fact)-dad is abusive and will manipulate any situation to get to mom. Anyway, this is a bad situation and the case worker is not doing a great job of protecting this child. I don’t know what to ask for, because there are so many people involved and there are so many different outcomes to pray for, so I guess–God’s Will be done, emotional and physical protection for the baby(who is very attached to the foster mom), and for peace for the foster family and the nurses. I’d also like to ask God for conversion of these 2 parents and for emotional healing and protection of mom’s other 3 children.

For continued prayers for anon’s Father and friends, for Momofone’s concerns for that precious baby, foster familes and actual families in that situation.
 
I’d like to ask you all for continued prayers for my daughter and her baby, (complicted pregancy) please ask for St. Gerard’s intercession, thank you, and for all my grandchildren, my entire family(DH, son, son-in-law and daughter-in-law.) One prayer please most especially for my youngest son. Thank you all.
 
Please pray for my 15 year old Daughter Jessica. We are having problems with he in School as well as with her attitude towards her family. She is going through a difficult phase right now and my Wife and I would appreciate your prayers.

**Barring a last minute miracle, the baby will be going home to mom tomorrow. I can’t understand this. The child welfare system is supposed to protect children, not send them back into a bad situation!!! The foster mom and I are VERY concerned about the baby, esp. her emotional health. **

I am a mom of two, both sons. My oldest is a Marine. My youngest is a Soldier. My youngest deploys very soon. My oldest, shortly after.

Please, pray for the safe return of our military men and women to their families and for an end to this war.

And if I may be selfish, Please pray that my daughter-in-law (married to our Marine) be given the strength and courage that our Blessed Mother had and that my grand daughter is comforted while her daddy is gone.

Please pray that my husband have a calm heart and will turn to the Lord during this time.

My prayers are always for the men and women in our armed services. I thank God always for the safe return of my father from WWII, I thank God for my son’s safe return from Iraq. I pray for those still there.
 
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This is the first time I have ever posted to any forum. I am a little nervous and hope that I am doing it correctly. I humbly ask for your prayers for my husband. Please pray that he finds a new job. He is very hopeful that the Lord will open up something for him but some days are very hard for me.

We continue to praise God for everything he has given us, our faith, our family (a son who is a seminarian 🙂 and our health. Intellectually I try to accept whatever the Lord sends us but emotionally it is a daily struggle.

Any prayers you send us our way would be most appreciated. I pray that the Lord will hear all of the prayers in this forum and give us the grace to carry our crossses.

Mom was called home on 10/16. Please continue to pray for the repose of her soul. Thanks to all for prayers.
 
I am asking for prayers for my sister in law"thea’,as she has a tumor in her left front side of her brain.She will be haveing surgery on this comeing wednesday.Blessings,freshwater
