My heart is heavy while reading all the different requests, and I say that because as soon as I begin praying for each and every one of those request I feel the load lifting. I will continue to come here and to pray for all of you. I thank you very much for all the prayers you have said for me and my family over the year.

My aunt (87) that was in rehab has moved home with a full time caretaker. I am eternally grateful that she was able to do this with the help of prayers.

My youngest daughter returned home from her 6 months in Spain- safe and sound and very pleased with all she learned in Madrid.

My oldest daughter is in the Persian Gulf as a helicopter pilot for the Navy. I pray for her mission and for her safe return. We will miss her for two holidays this year and her birthday. She will miss her best friend’s (of 22 years) wedding. I know this is something small in the big scheme of things but it really is an extreme disappointment for her. Please add to my daily prayers for her and for us during this trying time.

Thank you prayer warriors. You are the best! I thank God every day that I found this site and all of you to pray with. It is a very calming thing for me.

To the other military familites- I will pray unceasingly for our family that is deployed.

Praying for you and yours Fitz. No request is too small. God loves to help with large and small problems. I also especially pray for military families and their loved ones.

Therese:
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This is the first time I have ever posted to any forum. I am a little nervous and hope that I am doing it correctly. I humbly ask for your prayers for my husband. Please pray that he finds a new job. He is very hopeful that the Lord will open up something for him but some days are very hard for me.

We continue to praise God for everything he has given us, our faith, our family (a son who is a seminarian 🙂 and our health. Intellectually I try to accept whatever the Lord sends us but emotionally it is a daily struggle.

Any prayers you send us our way would be most appreciated. I pray that the Lord will hear all of the prayers in this forum and give us the grace to carry our crossses.

In Christ, Therese
Thank you all for your prayers. My husband is still searching but I am doing better in giving all to the Lord. That is a major answer of prayers for me. I would most appreciate continued prayers for my husband. Thank you very much.
In Christ, Therese

Please pray for my family’s protection and guidance. We’re facing some very difficult times and would appreciate the prayers of you here.

Please pray for a person who I thought was a friend. There’s been some serious misunderstandings between us and he seems to be refusing to listen to me. I don’t know what to do anymore.

Please pray for my mother, who was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, that she will return to the Church and be open to what God has for the remainder of her life.

Prayed for intentions.
I wanted to thank all who have prayed for my and others request. This weekend, I really saw a rainbow, it was glorious and reassuring. May we all have strength in the Lord, for the glory of God,Tim

My dear brothers and sisters. I am now an evangelical christian and feel that I am being drawn to the Roman Catholic Church and its teachings. I have been in prayer of late that God would reveal to me his will concerning these matters. I know that I have been saved, been baptized in water. Please pray for me that I will have the courage of my convictions because of family etc it is not easy to tell them of my feelings. I now serve as a deacon in my church but when I am serving Communion feel that it is not a symbol but should be regarded as the Real Presence. I have been studying early church history and talking to a nice Catholic lady and all this has led me to my present position.

I would appreciate all your prayers.

Love in Christ, Dave

You are in my thoughts and prayers Dave. I have many friends in the same situation. It’s not easy, but God will lead you through.

God Bless,
MaggieO

I will keep you in prayer Dave. I think that you are following your conscience and God will continue to direct you. We would all love to welcome you home. The Real Presence is what it is all about. Early church history is what brings so many people to RCIA… If you want to search further, try reading some of Jeff Cavins books or Scott Hahn’s books for they were both Protestant ministers before coming home to the Catholic church. They have dealt with the family issues that you mention. They both mention the early church fathers and teachings as a big reason for coming into the Catholic church. God bless you and your search for truth.

At the end of EWTN Life on the Rock show tonight…guest speaker Johnette Benkovic requested prayers for her husband who is battling an aggressive form of brain cancer.

My good friends’ mother just had surgery, and they’re waiting to see her right now. It’s been pretty hard on the family, and I know how worried they all are, so please pray for the success of the surgery and the recovery of their mother. All the prayers and intercessions will help so much, thank you and God bless:)

In Him,
Britty
