Please pray that we will be able to overcome the obstacles before us regarding our mortgage. We are two weeks away from closing and it seems that, out of nowhere, things have occurred that may prevent us from securing the mortgage.

Please pray for a co-worker of mine, Sue, who has cancer. Please pray for my niece, Amanda. Thank you.

Please pray for me to find the right path, to have the strength to face everyone with my conversion from Muslim to a catholic.

Please pray for my friend who’s suffering a lot from losing her mother last week

Dear Friends,

Please pray for my wife, Cleo, who has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. We are praying for a healing miracle through the intercession of St Philomena and John Paul II the Great.

Mike
You got it. My DH has been battling Cancer. We are also asking the intercession of John Paul II. :gopray2:

Please pray for the people of New Orleans.
Apparently hurricane Katrina will make a direct hit there.

We have some forums members from Louisiana and I am sure they will need our prayers.

Please pray for their citizens to be safe and well.

I pray for all who post here, but this is a special word to tell you that I have a special love for those Muslims who are seeking to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and you are going on my prayer list in a very special way.
May God bless you mightily!
And, yes, I am praying for your friend…It is so hard to lose a parent, & I have all ready paryed for her, as soon as I read this.

I pray every day for the Muslim people particularly for their leaders that they will come to know that there are more grouhds for understanding than there are for hatred.

Thanks for your prayers everyone. I still am regularly praying for this thread. 🙂

I feel like I could use some prayers - I just started (yet another) year of University. I’m having problems getting focused to do homework thanks in part to the Internet. I’m also noticing that I’m probably being more drawn to men than usual, I broke up with my boyfriend over the summertime and have been rather “running wild” in terms of flirting and whatnot.

I would like prayers that I learn to ignore distractions and stay focused on school, and that I just not be as over-active when it comes to dealing with guys.

Thank you!

Also let’s please don’t forget about all of the people on the coast,
I live in Arkansas and all of our hotels /motels are full with people
that had to evacuate. I am so impressed by the outpouring of sup-
port. Our restaurants are providing free food to the evacuees and
all the church’s have pulled together to help out. I love all of my
Christian brothers and sisters. Prayers esp. for the ones that lost
loved ones in this disaster.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE

Please pray for my friend he has just lost his son in an auto accident

Please continue to pray for all the hurricane victims; also I have a
older brother that’s needs a lot of prayers, cancer has returned.
He was in remission for about 1 & 1/2 years, but it’s back with a
vengeance. Please remember Michael in your prayers.

God Bless,
Justice

I plead with all who view this to please say a prayer for my father, Joseph. He is facing a very difficult time in his life and may believe that he has been abandoned by many who claimed to be his “friends”.

Thanks and God Bless you all.

A friend of mine and co-worker was severly injured in a car wreck last night. THe accident resulted in a major blow to the head. At this time, the doctors are not sure if he will make it. If he does, they have no idea whether permanent damage will be sustained. PLease pray for him and his family.

Thanks.

I say my nightly prayers for all on this thread especially for the hurricane victums

For Nichevo, praying that you will get your loan for a house.
For Sue, Michael, Marie’s DH and all those suffering w/cancer and all illnesses’, I will ask Our Lady of the Poor, Sick, and Indifferent to intercede on their behalf.
For Sue’s neice Amanda
For all converts and all those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
For Marwa’s friend, and all who have lost loved one’s this past week, especially also for those who are suffering in anyway as a result of Hurricane Katrina. May you all be reunited.
For you mylo, and all students, that you may stay focused, may our dear Blessed Mother intercede on your behalf (God first, then your studies, then the internet, guys are optional, and usually not worth your time while in College, keep to the goal for the long run.)
Just as we keep to the goal for the long run into life everlasting, look for the crown beyond this life, not to the distractions along the journey.
For Barbara Ann’s friend’s son, and his family, may God hold them all in the palm of His hand at such a difficult time.
For dear Joseph, I will ask St. Joseph to intercede on his behalf.
for pnewton, their friend and his family.
Continued prayers even when I don’t post, please also keep my loved one’s in your prayers. We all need to pray daily for one another, and to reach out and help in any way we can. No matter how small, if every person in the world, or even just in the United States gave just $1.00, we could do so much for those in immediate need. I am sure all our Parishes had special collections today. If not, there is always Catholic Charities.

Please, pray for elderly parents, that they find peace in each other and that they remain together in His name, so that He remains among them.

:blessyou:

Well, to get right to the point …

A friend of mine’s sister-in-law, Diane (a Christian), had just been diagnosed with a most vicious and acute form of cancer just a few short months ago.

Even though she is only 35 years old and was in such good physical condition that she was prepared to run the Boston Marathon later this year, the doctors still give her only a 20% chance of survival.

Over the next 2 weeks, Diane will be undergoing radiation therapy which will burn out most of her intestines - leaving only her lungs and heart free from those intense bursts.

Bottom line my friends …

The radiation treatment that she is about to receive, and how her body responds to an adult stem cell transplant from her sister - will determine if she is now going to live … or if she is going to die.

Diane is married, and is mother to 4 beautiful children. Her youngest child is only 1 year old.

I humbly plead with all here, that you, your church/parish (and anyone else that you might know) would mercifully place Diane on yours/their prayer list for “THOSE IN IMMEDIATE NEED”.

God’s will be done always, understanding though that it is always God’s will that we earnestly pray for one another as well.

Thanking You ALL For Your Help In This Spiritual Intervention … The Most Desperate of Cases.

sincerely and with great thanks,

frank

This seems like such a silly request, given the gravity of the devastation in the south, but I would like people to pray that my son will go to sleep early, and then be able to stay awake from 12am tonight on until he is allowed to go to sleep. He has a sleep deprived EEG at 8am(EST) tomorrow to see if he is having seizures in his sleep. It is very important that he has this test. Thanks. And I will keep everyone’s intentions in my prayers.

Well, he did not go to sleep before midnight, but he stayed up all night! Thanks for the prayers. The test was done and so far, the results look good.
