Please pray for my father-in-law (Dr. Thomas Barnes) who was air lifted to the hospital today and remains in critical condition.
Thank you everyone for your prayers:gopray:

Please pray for my aunt. I just recieved word that she is in her last hours.

This is my brother’s Godmother…she was diagnosed with serious cancer only a couple of months ago but with hope of recovery. She has recieved intensive radiation and chemo (as much as her body would allow…they had to change the treatments according to how she was doing).

Now it seems that her body is shutting down.

We have been praying from the beginning for a miraculous recovery…and now, I guess it’s time to pray that the Lord recieves her for eternity into his loving embrace.

Please, please pray Divine Mercy for her. She is a beautiful, loving woman and deserving of her eternal home.

my friend’s friend’s dad died of a heart attack last night, could you please pray for them…you know for comfort or something, I can only imagine how bad that must feel you know

This prayer request is already written out for you, but I think it covers all the bases that need the most help. If you read it in the first person, it should help alot.

Father, I have a problem, and it’s weighing heavy on me. It’s all I can think about, night and day. Before I bring it to you in prayer, I suppose I should pray for those who are less fortunate than me

Those in this world who have hardly enough food for this day and for those who don’t have a roof over their heads at night.

I also pray for families who have lost loved ones in sudden death; for parents whose children have leukemia; for the many people who are dying of brain tumors; for the hundreds of thousands who are wasting away with other terrible cancers; for people whose bodies have been suddenly shattered in car wrecks; for those who are lying in the hospital with agonizing burns over their bodies, whose faces have been burned beyond recognition.

I pray for people with emphysema, whose eyes fill with terror as they struggle for every breath merely to live; for those who are tormented beyond words by irrational fears; for the elderly who are wracked with the pains of aging, whose only “escape” is death.

I pray for people who are watching their loved ones fade before their eyes through the grief of Alzheimer’s disease; for the many thousands who are suffering the agony of AIDS; for those who are in such despair that they are about to commit suicide; for people who are tormented by the demons of alcoholism and drug addiction.

I pray for children who have been abandoned by their parents; for those who are sexually abused; for wives held in quiet despair, beaten and abused by cruel and drunken husbands; for people whose minds have been bewildered by mental disorders; for those who have lost everything in floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes.

I pray for the blind, who never see the faces of the ones they love or the beauty of a sunrise; for those whose bodies are horribly deformed by painful arthritis; for the many whose lives will be taken from them today by murderers; for those wasting away on their death beds.

Most of all, I pray for the millions who don’t know the forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ . . . for those who in a moment of time will be swept into hell by the cold hand of death, and find to their utter horror the unspeakable vengeance of eternal fire. They will be eternally damned to everlasting punishment.

Oh God, I pray for them.

I didnt write this but its one of the best prayers I know.

Say a prayer for the soul of Tom T and for his wife and 2 children. He passed away Thursday night from cancer. Funeral is today.

Please pray for the elderly, the sick, the handicapped, the broken-hearted, the lonely and the homeless people of this world. May God give them peace.

Please pray for the souls of all of our deceased parents and loved ones.

And…Pope Benedict and all of the Cardinals, Bishops and Priests.

I also pray that the Holy Father’s messages to the youth will reach the entire world.

I have a praise report from my cousin Linda today. I had asked for prayer for her, as she was diagnosed with colon cancer.
Linda is recovering very well from her surgery, but we had even better news today: the doctors have tested & re-tested the tumor that they removed (with a large section of the colon), but they are now saying that they have concluded that it was a large but precancerous tumor, of the composition of the polyps that are removed from so many.
The doctors do not understand it, but all of us in the family know: this is the direct result of the prayers of so many people. (You will recall, that she said at the time of the original diagnosis that she was not worried, because she knew that if enough were praying for her, she would be fine).
This is above anything I could have hoped for.Thank you all who prayed.

As usual, let me say that I pray for all prayer requests here. God bless you all.

I am currently going through a melt-down various aspects of my personal life, especially (but not exclusively) my relationship with my wife. Please pray for me.

I just dropped my daughter off at the airport. She will return to her home base and then leave for the Middle East in about a week. I won’t see her until after her deployment. This is her second deployment so I know how hard this really is. Please keep her and all our military in your prayers. Thank you.

Please pray for D, a 2nd generation Scientologist, that our Merciful Father will place people in his path who can share the truth with him and that his heart will be softened to truly hear it.

Well all! A good friend of mine at work and a fellow Knight has brought it to my attention that he needs our prayers! He has been civilly divorced for many years and has lived his life according tothe faith by not remarrying or commiting adultary. He confided in me today and told me that he has slipped up and gave into the temptation of Satan! A girl he talks to and him got intimate and he is very distraught over it! I promised him not to tell anyone but I did tell him I would post it here for you guys to pray for him. He knows what he did was a mortal sin against the Lord and trust me, he feels guilty about it. He knows what he must do to reconcile his sould with the Lord and will do that. Please pray for him in that he finds the strenght to resist this temptation in the future. He is finding it hard to deal with because while he knows it was blatently wrong, he said it was a great feeling to share those emotions again. He said it was not like a one night stand, they truely have strong feelings for each other. I know his faith is strong and his intent is not to continue with this lady if she can not accept his feelings about the situation.

  1. My own poor soul, so I can be a light of Christ despite myself.
  2. My unbelieving friends, so they can come to an understanding of my faith.
  3. For the poor souls in Purgatory, especially those who have out of ignorance chosen against the Faith.

For my mom, who is dealing with Parkinson’s (diagnosed in March). She’s responding well to the drugs, but is sliding into a depression. 😦

Kindly pray for Bill who is seeking employment as a math teacher, his wife Valerie who has recently learned that she has breast cancer and their two children.
**Thank you, **
Shalom,
Catherine at the Water Cooler.
