I guess it would have been better if the kids had just sat in the drag queen’s lap. Surely no one could object to that since kids have been sitting in the laps of men who are strangers to them for generations around Christmas time.
 
I was soooo waiting for someone to bring up that lame comparison. Now that’s what I call reaching. Yawn. Utterly predictable and unworthy of further attention.

You and your fellow traveler can educate yourself about the guidelines this man is violating, or not. Specious and uninformed arguments made in ignorance of such guidelines are of no more consequence than a puff of air. Therefore you need not address me further. I doubt that this particular scenario happens at most Drag Queen Story Hours, so it’s not worth spending much time over. But as I said above, the goal of the parents who take their kids to these events is important since kids do need to learn to be kind and considerate to others who are different from themselves. Bullying is still a problem in some places, especially for gay kids, and suicide rates and suicidal ideation are still higher in that population than among straight youth.

And since I started this post before you added the part about not wanting me to address you further, you can ignore it if it makes you feel better.

The images are screenshots from Multnomah County Library’s own Flicker page. Before they were taken down by the library they were copied by multiple users, not just LifeSite News. I saw some of them personally on the library’s website, before they vanished.

Hmmm, wonder why the library took them down, if they’re sure the pictures don’t show any wrongdoing?
 
And I’m saying LSN is irrelevant. The photographs depicting a grown man lying on the floors with children on top of him in intimate contact are real. The library posted them on their own Flicker page which is where LSN found them and publicized them.

Also real are the guidelines for adult-child contact in such settings, which as the images demonstrate were egregiously violated.

This occurred in the context of a so-called “Drag Queen Story Hour” where books written to indoctrinate children into the “LGBTQ” lifestyle were read to toddlers and preschoolers by individuals masquerading as the opposite sex.

Children aren’t going to turn out gay because their parents took them to a Drag Queen Story Hour. But maybe they might grow up to be more compassionate towards LGBT people and others who are outsiders in some way which seems like a good thing to me.

After the library abruptly took down the photos from their own Flicker page, their spokesman said “The library serves a diverse population with a broad range of interests, preferences and needs.” (Redirect Notice)

So apparently they feel that small children have “preferences or needs” for indoctrination into tranvestitism and same sex partnering.

The librarians must also feel that little children have “preferences or needs” for outrageously wicked mockery of Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith, too, since the so called “sisters of perpetual Indulgence” have presented there as well.

I think as a whole librarians tend to be very liberal or more accurately progressive. Not the prim little old ladies of yesteryear😳
 
To put it mildly, yes. They are accomplices to this in a number of ways. They decide who gets to read to the children; they choose the books they think children should read, including books glorifying the lgbtqxyzetc lifestyle.

Yes and it shows by the new non fiction shelves at the library. In my county some libraries have a balance of liberal and conservative new books. But others look like the reading lists for college sociology professors. Completely radical left wing. It’s all anti-white, anti-american, radical feminist, gay and trans propaganda.
 
They receive their marching orders from higher up.

Though the costume bit does introduces similarities,
Store Santa’s get a proper background check.
 
If they are looking for diversity and different outfits, I know of some traditional orders of young teaching nuns who wear religious garb and would probably be glad to read stories to children. They might also get some military people in uniform to read stories.
