Yes, Satan is in the world, but the world does not belong to him.
we are to evangelize but we are not to force people to abide by our rules and Satan has authority of this world for now.
You are correct, people can choose to reject Christ’s Teachings. It is our duty to uphold Christ’s Teachings.
