But, one can give the names of people who are part of either the Liberal or Conservative Establishments, even if they are somewhat amorphous.
 
Regarding the enormous amount of money being spent on ( false ) ads , by Romney , similar to what helped in Obama win also , one serious issue to consider would be , if there are powers with common interests who could be supporting both …such as the oil money , wanting to support a candidate that shares some of the anti Christian ideals !

Would large donations from them even motivate the candidate , to loose out to Obama , if what has moved him are divided interests - such as in poly goals !

( Mormonism is said to be closest to Islam ! )

Thus , one more reason we need someone who is familar with ways of Bl.John Paul 11 , whom heaven has shown us , could help us against the threats of communist China as well as Islamic greed , let alone other domestic issues of respect for life and all that
comes with it !

And those people, such as Newt Gingrich or Rush, would say “whoa, I’m not part of the ‘establishment.’ I’m an ‘outsider.’” To the extent there is an “establishment,” they don’t all agree, nor do they conspire to control events. It is a bogeyman.

Or perhaps I do know. Why would you think I wouldn’t? The capital gains tax is part of the income tax.

A convenient whipping boy. “Not part of the Washington crowd,” “Outside the Beltway” are also convenient ways to make people think that one is a barefoot boy come to Washington. You know, like Jimmy Stewart. 😃

Exactly. And, what are the criteria for the “establishment?” My guess is the definition varies depending on whom you ask. Thirty-year Congressman? Well, not Ron Paul, of course… 😛

How about the folks who are afraid to nominate a conservative instead of a moderate like McCain and Dole? How about the party elders who would like to forget the Tea Party? I consider those part of the establishment. JMO, of course.

I agree Mary, they definitely do not want someone in power who might ruin the lobbyist and big bank relationships that they have developed over the years.

I thought at one time that conservatives called them crooked politicians and that typically meant the establishment, but when all conservatives have to vote for us crooked politicians they gather like a herd of animals defending their young.

 Romney definitely has a good side, as opposed to the guy who has not so much as lifted a finger to help his impoverished brother George Obama in Kenya. But he believes in Big Government solutions to problems, and he has shown a willingness to lie mercilessly about such things as Gingrich resigning in "disgrace" from Congress. He governed as a liberal who paid for abortions and bragged about being "better on gay issues than Ted Kennedy". He also appointed only 9 Republican judges among 36 selections. 
 Me, give me Rick Santorum any time, any day. Romney would continue managing America's decline. :mad: Rob
 
Would absolutely dance for joy if Rick won the nomination. Would be really satisfied with Newt. Would be OK with Romney.
