And/or, isn’t Rush part of it? The “establishment” is always an unidentified adversary…the person using the term is never part of it.What GOP establishment?

But, one can give the names of people who are part of either the Liberal or Conservative Establishments, even if they are somewhat amorphous.And/or, isn’t Rush part of it? The “establishment” is always an unidentified adversary…the person using the term is never part of it.
And those people, such as Newt Gingrich or Rush, would say “whoa, I’m not part of the ‘establishment.’ I’m an ‘outsider.’” To the extent there is an “establishment,” they don’t all agree, nor do they conspire to control events. It is a bogeyman. But, one can give the names of people who are part of either the Liberal or Conservative Establishments, even if they are somewhat amorphous.
Or perhaps I do know. Why would you think I wouldn’t? The capital gains tax is part of the income tax.Perhaps you don’t know the difference in income tax and capital gains tax. Romney paid the rate he did on capital gains, not income. While I agree that the tax code needs to be reformed, let’s not confuse the two.
A convenient whipping boy. “Not part of the Washington crowd,” “Outside the Beltway” are also convenient ways to make people think that one is a barefoot boy come to Washington. You know, like Jimmy Stewart. And those people, such as Newt Gingrich or Rush, would say “whoa, I’m not part of the ‘establishment.’ I’m an ‘outsider.’” To the extent there is an “establishment,” they don’t all agree, nor do they conspire to control events. Exactly. And, what are the criteria for the “establishment?” My guess is the definition varies depending on whom you ask. Thirty-year Congressman? Well, not Ron Paul, of course…A convenient whipping boy. “Not part of the Washington crowd,” “Outside the Beltway” are also convenient ways to make people think that one is a barefoot boy come to Washington. **It is not per se effort to smear the candidate **but to see , to what extent , such familal factors are playing out already , to indicate how much it may , for the future too …
Smear.such as in aggressively pursuing companies , to make millions , without much care about the human lives involved …
Smear.aggressivley proselytising , without being truthful …
Smear.Polygamy has to be seen as a manifestation of human aggression and greed that deny and lie about the fundammental God given dignity and worth of humans, esp. women .
Thus , seems it is possibly cultures where such aggression is part and parcel of ways that have also embraced polygamy !
How about the folks who are afraid to nominate a conservative instead of a moderate like McCain and Dole? How about the party elders who would like to forget the Tea Party? I consider those part of the establishment. JMO, of course. What GOP establishment?
So, all party elders think that way? There are no Tea Party enthusiasts in the “establishment?”How about the folks who are afraid to nominate a conservative instead of a moderate like McCain and Dole? How about the party elders who would like to forget the Tea Party? I consider those part of the establishment. JMO, of course.
I agree Mary, they definitely do not want someone in power who might ruin the lobbyist and big bank relationships that they have developed over the years. How about the folks who are afraid to nominate a conservative instead of a moderate like McCain and Dole? How about the party elders who would like to forget the Tea Party? I consider those part of the establishment. JMO, of course.
? Smearing in light , to expose works of darkness !

I’m glad you aren’t interested in smearing the candidate.![]()
Rick Santorum is one of the most solid, decent, energetic, passionate, patriotic citizens in America. He means what he says, and that perhaps is the reason why so many self-interested elites are funneling millions into his opponents’ campaigns. I will not be dissuaded. God willing, it will not come down to a battle between a big government socialist and an avowed Alinskyite. What hope will America have if we rest our faith on either of these two duplicitous pols? GO RICK 2012!!!Michelle Malkin has a wonderful article posted today on Rich Santorum and his different positions on important topics.
“For Santorum”

“In July 1996, the 14-year-old daughter of Robert Gay, a partner at Bain Capital, had disappeared,” the story reads. "She had attended a rave party in New York City and gotten high on ecstasy. Three days later, her distraught father had no idea where she was. Romney took immediate action. He closed down the entire firm and asked all 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to help find Gay’s daughter. Romney set up a command center at the LaGuardia Marriott and hired a private detective firm to assist with the search. He established a toll-free number for tips, coordinating the effort with the NYPD, and went through his Rolodex and called everyone Bain did business with in New York and asked them to help find his friend’s missing daughter. Romney’s accountants at Price Waterhouse Cooper put up posters on street poles, while cashiers at a pharmacy owned by Bain put fliers in the bag of every shopper. Romney and the other Bain employees scoured every part of New York and talked with everyone they could – prostitutes, drug addicts – anyone.
"That day, their hunt made the evening news, which featured photos of the girl and the Bain employees searching for her. As a result, a teenage boy phoned in, asked if there was a reward, and then hung up abruptly. The NYPD traced the call to a home in New Jersey, where they found the girl in the basement, shivering and experiencing withdrawal symptoms from a massive ecstasy dose. Doctors later said the girl might not have survived another day. Romney’s former partner credits Mitt Romney with saving his daughter’s life, saying, ‘It was the most amazing thing, and I’ll never forget this to the day I die.’

Romney definitely has a good side, as opposed to the guy who has not so much as lifted a finger to help his impoverished brother George Obama in Kenya. But he believes in Big Government solutions to problems, and he has shown a willingness to lie mercilessly about such things as Gingrich resigning in "disgrace" from Congress. He governed as a liberal who paid for abortions and bragged about being "better on gay issues than Ted Kennedy". He also appointed only 9 Republican judges among 36 selections.
Me, give me Rick Santorum any time, any day. Romney would continue managing America's decline. Rob
