Excuses, excuses, excuses.
The lengths that Santorum disciples go to to defend his inexcusable ādealsā and support of pro-abortion politicans is truly amazing, given that in the same breath they have the nerve to state that Ron Paul is less pro-life than Santorum.
And please, the youtube video I linked to canāt be taken out of context and Santorumās voting record is avialable for all of us to see.
Santorum was thrown out of office in 2006 for his betrayal of basic social and fiscal conservative principles. He was thrown out for being just another status-quo, neoconservative, Bush-era Republican. He represents everything that the Tea Party rejected in 2010. He is truly arrogant and delusional to think that after being rejected in a landslide in Pennsylvania in 2006, that now all of a sudden he somehow he will have a chance against Obama in a general election.
Your last little attempt at a rationalization of Santorumās betrayal, involving your example of your āfriendsā and āowing them moneyā doesnāt even make sense in relation to Santorum and Specter, and further illustrates how desperate you are to defend Santorumās inexcusable behavior.
My last post talked about the issues.
Your post here makes 2 character attacks on me. You call me a āSantorum discipleā, and say that Iām depserate to defend inexcusable behavior.
I would appreciate an apology, but I wonāt be surprised if you donāt give it. No one on these forums ever apologizes for anything. Itās disgusting.
The only man Iām a disciple of is fully human and fully divine.
And for your information I still have a Newt sticker on my car, and Newt is the only person Iāve give money to this go-round. So⦠not only are you attacking me personally, but even if you phrased it nicer and said āIām in Santorumās campā, even that would be patently false.
Anyways, Arlen Specter and some PAC have nothing to do with Santorum being pro-life, whether in thought, word, or deed. Catholics in America have to operate in a world where almost everyone disagrees with our view of sexuality. Just because he works with those people doesnāt change his beliefs of being pro-life.
And, would you call me delusional to vote for Santorum? Maybe you shouldnāt start bringing mental illnesses into a political debate. Unless of course, you are Newt Gingrich⦠he wants to allocate 20 billion dollars to find cures for Alzheimers, Autism, and Dimentia. By His calculation, this would save us money.
But, again, if you think Rick Santorum is delusional, I guess all the people that voted for him in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouruh, and Colorado are also delusional, and suffer from mental illness.
No⦠that isnāt sarcasm. Iām trying to show you how terrible your comments are. They are simply beyond the pale. And a good Catholic would apologize for that kind of uncivilized discourse and hateful and demeaning rhetoric.
EDIT= I wouldnāt expect an apology from someone that quotes the Devil in their sig⦠I quote the Apostolos Petrus et Paulus.
