No thanks. You told us how deeply you despise Trump in Post 73. I don’t need more of it, and I doubt anyone else does other than those who delight in it.
I have not heard a more evasive, quibbling excuse for Trump’s obscene statement. If what he said was so accurate, why did he, in this rare instance, apologize to his family about it?My terminology would be different. But if I had any real knowledge of “groupies” and if I was telling someone about their ways, I wouldn’t hesitate to describe them. It would depend on the person to whom I was saying it, of course.
He wasn’t talking about “women this way”, only “groupies”.
That’s hilarious. Watch the mainstream media much??? They seem to demonize those who do support him!The ones who are sticking to Trump like glue and simply demonizing everyone who does not support him
And what Democrat supporters don’t seem to understand, is that their candidates life positions are so reprehensible, that Trump’s behavior and personality traits pales in comparison to them. Rendering their vote for him a no-brainer.Part of the problem that many Trump supporters don’t understand is that there are people that could agree with every single Trump idea and yet are so appalled as his behavior and personality that they can not bring themselves to vote for him.
Honestly, I think most Democrats are very aware of this. And what Democrat supporters don’t seem to understand, is that their candidates life positions are so reprehensible, that Trump’s behavior and personality traits pales in comparison to them. Rendering their vote for him a no-brainer.
Why would you think I said that when I said nothing of the sort. Let me repeat what I said:LeafByNiggle:![]()
A misconstruction. You’re telling me the Catechism of the Catholic Church prohibits me from opening the door for a woman or requiring a translator to do business with one who cannot speak English. The right to go about one’s business is a fundamental personal right. When that right is abrogated on the basis of ethnic appearance, it is contrary to CCC 1935.
When Sheriff Arpaio engaged in continually stopping Hispanic people and subjecting them to constant questioning, he abrogated their right to go about their business without interference - a right that non-Hispanic enjoyed. The right to go about one’s business is a fundamental personal right. When that right is abrogated on the basis of ethnic appearance, it is contrary to CCC 1935.
Those “groupies” are women. They’re not objects. They’re human beings.FrankFletcher:![]()

I think abortion is the greatest evil on this planet. For that reason, I get why so many Christians, Catholics included, have supported Trump. That said, I believe that these Christians are unwittingly doing real harm to the Republican Party, conservatism, and the pro-life movement…harm that may take many years to undo. With the absolute devotion to Trump and everything he says and does - even when its completely at odds with real conservative values and definitely at odds with Catholic values - the Christian Right has lost a lot of credibility. They’ve lost the moral high ground. Abortion is horrendous and must be fought at every turn…but by making an immoral, public adulterer, potty mouth, documented serial liar like Trump the poster boy of the pro-life movement and conservatism in general, the movement will be hurting for a very, very long time. When the dust settles, anyone and everyone who hitched their cart to the Trump horse may be in for some big surprises. But she just cannot bring herself to vote for Trump. It seemed that the last straw was watching Trump mocking a disabled journalist.
You really mean to vote for the worst evil of our time because you think a man’s morals are bad (which you don’t know now, whatever they might have been in the past) and has bad manners?Abortion is horrendous and must be fought at every turn…but by making an immoral, public adulterer, potty mouth, documented serial liar like Trump
Voting for Joe is not voting for the worst evil of our time. But Trump’s undermining of our democracy is.twf:![]()

IF the states step in and put an end to it.Which progressives do daily.
The plain facts are, every single things liberal/progressives/democrats/etc/etc/etc touch turn into garbage.
Every major city ran by those are turning into third world cities. The longer the democrats are in charge the more of a septic tank those cities become.
If these people get in charge you will see this country slowly become a toilet bowl, until the states step in and put an end to it.
The country is a toilet bowl. There is zero concern for the common good, and if you think that happened because of “progressives,” you haven’t been paying attention.Which progressives do daily.

I agree. Especially when there were prolife Republican candidates campaigning and participating in the primaries.Abortion is horrendous and must be fought at every turn…but by making an immoral, public adulterer, potty mouth, documented serial liar like Trump the poster boy of the pro-life movement and conservatism in general, the movement will be hurting for a very, very long time.
